2. Դա քոնն է Երբ մենք 20 տարեկան ենք, մենք անպարտ ենք: Մեզ ոչ ոք պետք չէ եւ մենք ամեն ինչ ինքներս կարող ենք անել: Բայց հասունանալու հետ մեկտեղ մենք սկսում ենք հասկանալ, որ ոչ ոք իդեալական չէ, եւ մենք դեռ շատ բան պետք է սովորենք: Եվ այդ շատը կարող է գալ ուրիշ մարդու հետ հարաբերությունների ժամանակ: Եթե խոսքը տղամարդկանց մասին է, ապա նրանց համար շատ դժվար է իրենց էգոն հաղթահարել, որպեսզի կնոջից ինչ-որ բան սովորեն: Բայց դա կարեւոր է անել: Առնվազն պետք է փորձել լսել նրան:

4. Սեփական անհասունությունը Լուրջ հարաբերություններին պետք է լուրջ վերաբերվել, կարողանալ պատասխանատվություն վերցնել եւ ջանքեր ներդնել, որպեսզի ամեն ինչ ստացվի: Դա այնքան էլ հեշտ չէ, ինչպես դպրոցում՝ մեկ վարդ, կոնֆետներ եւ գարեջուր: Դրանք հասուն հարաբերություններ են, եւ պետք է փոխվել:

5. Անհեռատեսություն Երիտասարդ տարիներին մենք ապագայի մասին հազվադեպ ենք մտածում: Կանայք սիրում են, երբ տղամարդիկ նպատակներ ու պլաններ ունեն եւ երբ դրանք իրականացնում են: Դրանք կոնկրետ գործողություններ են ենթադրում, ոչ թե «ինչպես կստացվի»:
