«Նախ ասեմ, որ շատ պատահական կայացրի երգով ներկայանալու որոշումը, ընդ որում՝ ես ոչ այնքան երգում եմ, որքան պատմում: Ինքս ինձ երգիչ չեմ համարում ու չեմ էլ համարելու, սա զուտ մի պահ է, երբ կա ասելիք, որով ուզում եմ կիսվել մարդկանց հետ: Համաձայն եմ այն կարծիքների հետ, որ ամեն մեկն իր գործով պետք է զբաղվի, դրա համար էլ մտադրություն չունեմ այսուհետ նաեւ որպես երգիչ ներկայանալ. ես դերասան եմ, եւ կրկին կերգեմ այն ժամանակ, երբ նորից հոգուս պոռթկում զգամ: Ես դեռ մանկուց եմ ստեղծագործում, գրում եմ չափածո ստեղծագործություններ, բանաստեղծություններ, պատմվածքներ, սցենարներ, երգերի խոսքեր: Իսկ վերջերս այնպես ստացվեց, որ որոշեցի իմ գրած խոսքերի հիման վրա զուգերգ ունենալ Րաֆֆիի հետ, ով հեղինակել է այս երգի երաժշտությունը»,- երգի նախապատմության մասին Life.panorama.am-ի խոսելիս՝ նշեց Կարեն Ասլանյանը:
