Եվրոպացի դիտորդները լավ կազմակերպված են գնահատում ապրիլի 2-ին Հայաստանում անցկացված խորհրդարանական ընտրությունները. նրանք ընդգծում են, որ հիմնարար ազատությունները հիմնականում հարգված էին: Այս մասին հայտարարվեց ապրիլի 3-ին դիտորդների հրավիրած ասուլիսում, որին մասնակցում էին ԵԱՀԿ Ժողովրդավարական հաստատությունների և մարդու իրավունքների գրասենյակի դիտորդական առաքելության ղեկավար Յան Պետերսենը, ԵԱՀԿ կարճաժամկետ դիտորդական առաքելության հատուկ համակարգող Իսգանսիո Սանչես Ամորը, Եվրախորհրդի Խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի պատվիրակության ղեկավար Լիլիան Մորի -Պասկիերը, ԵԱՀԿ Խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի պատվիրակության ղեկավար Գայիր Յորգեն Բեքեֆոլդը, Եվրախորհրդարանի պատվիրակության ղեկավար Հաիդի Հաութալան:  

«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ դիտորդները հայտարարեցին, որ ապրիլի 2-ի ընտրությունները վկայում են Հայաստանում քաղաքական նոր համակարգի կառուցման առաջին քայլի մասին, սակայն փոփոխությունները չեն կարող լինել մեկ գիշերվա ընթացքում, բարեփոխումների համար պետք են վարքագծային փոփոխություններ: Եթե Հայաստանը ցանկանում է ուժեղ ժողովրդավարություն, կուսակցություններին անհրաժեշտ է մեծ հասունություն: Հայաստանի իշխանությունների հետ եղել է կառուցողական համագործակցություն, որն արժանի է դրվատանքի: Ընտրացուցակների ճշգրտությունը բարելավվել է, այլ անձի փոխարեն և կրկնաքվեարկությունները հիմնականում բացառվել են:

Դիտորդներն արձանագրում են, որ ընտրողների ճանաչման սարքերն աշխատել են նորմալ, սակայն տեղամասերում եղել են կուտակումներ: Քվեարկությունն անցել է հանդարտ և խաղաղ, սակայն նկատվել են կազմակերպական խնդիրներ և անհարկի միջամտությունների դեպքեր: Դիտորդներն ընտրակաշառքի վերաբերյալ տեղեկություններ ունեն, որոնք ազդեն են հանրության վստահության մակարդակի վրա:

Նախնական արդյունքները հրապարակվել են երկարաժամկետ և կարճաժամկետ դիտարկումների արդյունքում:

Հայաստանում ապրիլի 2-ին անցկացված քվեարկության արդյունքում Ազգային ժողով են անցնում քաղաքական 4 ուժեր. առաջատարը ՀՀԿ-ն է՝ 49.12 տոկոսով, հաջորդում են «Ծառուկյան», «Ելք» դաշինքները, համապատասխանաբար, 27.32 և  7.77 տոկոսով և ՀՅԴ-ն՝ 6.57 տոկոսով:
