Ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմից մեկ տարի է անցել: Ճիշտ մեկ տարի առաջ այս օրերին բոլորին միայն մեկ հարց էր հետաքրքրում՝ մեր խաղաղությունը հայ զինվորներն իրենց կյանքով են պահում: Շուրջ 104 զինվոր չապրեցին, որպեսզի մենք ապրենք:
 
Խաղաղության գինն այսօր ամեն մեկը յուրովի է ընկալում, 104 հերոսներին ու Աստծո կամոք ապրած տղաներին ամեն մեկն իր կերպով է շնորհակալ, մի բան կա միայն, որ խիստ ընդհանուր է՝ անկախ նրանից, ով հասկացավ խաղաղության գինը, ով՝ ոչ, այսօր բոլորը աղոթում են, որ անցյալ տարվա ապրիլն այլեւս չկրկնվի:
 
Life.panorama.am-ի հետ զրույցում Տեր Շմավոն քահանա Ղեւոնդյանն իր զորակցությունը հայտնեց ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմում զոհվածների ընտանիքներին.
 
«Աղոթելով մեր բոլոր նահատակված զինվորնրի հոգիների հանգստության համար՝ նաեւ պետք է մեր զորակցությունը հայտնել նրանց ընտանիքի անդամներին՝ ծնողներին, եղբայրներին, զավակներին: Այսօր մեր ողջ ազգն իրենց խաղաղ օրով պարտավոր է հենց մեր զոհված տղաներին: Վստահ եմ, որ եթե յուրքանչյուր մարդ օրական թեկուզ մեկ անգամ իր փոքրիկ աղոթքով հիշի նրանց, ապա մեր զոհված հերոսների հոգիները խաղաղության մեջ կհարատեւեն, ողջերն էլ մխիթարված կլինեն Աստծո զորությամբ: Բոլորին ուժ ու կարողություն եմ մաղթում, թող Աստծո օրհնությունը անպակաս լինի մեր հերոսների ընտանիքներից, սերն ու խաղաղությունն էլ հարատեւի մեր երկում, որպեսզի կարողանանք այս դժվարին փորձությունների շրջանն անցնել ու մեր կյանքը շարունակել բարի եւ խաղաղ Հայաստանում»,- շեշտեց քահանան ու շարունակեց.
«Ցանկացած խաղաղություն ձեռք է բերվում մարդկանց կյանքի զոհաբերմամբ, այդպես եղել է միշտ, պարզապես ցավալի է, որ մարդիկ չեն կարողանում միմյանց հետ խաղաղ ապրել, եւ ճշմարտությունն էլ չեն կարողանում ընդունել, այն պարզ ճշմարտությունը, որի համար մենք ստիպված ենք թանկ վճարել: Ամենացավալին այն է, որ այս ամենը կատարվում է գերտերությունների, եթե ոչ համաձայնությամբ, ապա գոնե լուռ դիտորդությամբ»:
 
Թե որքանո՞վ ենք ինքներս գիտակցում խաղաղության գինը ու ինչպե՞ս եք արտահայտում մեր երախտիքը հերոսներին՝ Տեր Շմավոն քահանա Ղեւոնդյանը հրաժարվեց դատել.
 
«Ամեն մեկս, եթե ուղակիրոն մեր մասով լինենք պարտաճանաչ ու ծառայենք մեր գործին: Այսինքն, եթե յուրաքանչյուր մարդ իր տեղում ճիշտ գտնվեց ու այդ գիտակցությունն ունեցավ, ապա շատ բան կփոխվի: Ես երբեւէ չեմ փորձել մարդկանց արարքները մեկնաբանել ու դատել: Եթե իմ համայնքում կա մեղսալից մի ընթացք, փորձում եմ ընթացքը դատապարտել, իսկ մարդուն սիրով հետ կանչել իր սխալ ճանապարհից: Սա է ճշմարիտը, իսկ մեզ մոտ լրիվ հակառակն է՝ մեղքը համարվում է  նորմալ ընթացք, իսկ մեղավորին դատապարտելը ավելի նորմալ ընթացք: Արժեքները փոփոխվել են, չափանիշները ճիշտ տեղում չեն գտնվում: Կոչ եմ անում բոլորին՝ իջնել այդ դատողի աթոռներից, ոչ մեկս դատելու իրավունք չունենք, դատողը միայն Աստված է: Պետք է յուրաքանչյուրս հիշի պատվիրանը՝ «Մի դատիր, որ չդատվես»»,- ավարտեց քահանան:
