ԱՄՆ-ի շախմատի առաջնության 6-րդ տուրում Վարուժան Հակոբյանը ոչ-ոքի խաղաց առաջատար Ուեսլի Սոյի հետ

Սենթ Լուիս քաղաքում շարունակվում են շախմատի ԱՄՆ-ի տղամարդկանց և կանանց առաջնությունները:
«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` տղամարդկանց մրցաշարում Վարուժան Հակոբյանի մրցակիցն էր առաջատար Ուեսլի Սոն: Չնայած այն հանգամանքին, որ Հակոբյանը խաղում էր սև խաղաքարերով, նա պարտիայի ընթացքում ստացել էր մեծ առավելություն, սակայն 31-րդ քայլին վրիպում թույլ տվեց, և պարտիան ավարտվեց ոչ-ոքի արդյունքով: Մրցաշարի 6-րդ տուրում Ֆաբիանո Կարուանան և Սամուել Շանկլանդը հաղթանակներ նշեցին: Մյուս պարտիաներն ավարտվեցին ոչ-ոքի արդյունքով:
6-րդ տուրից հետո աղյուսակը շարունակում է միանձնյա գլխավորել Ուեսլի Սոն, ով 6 հնարավորից վաստակել է 4 միավոր: Վարուժան Հակոբյանը, Հիկարու Նակամուրան, Ֆաբիանո Կարուանան, Դանիել Նարոդիցկին և Յարոսլավ Ժերեբուխը առաջատարից հետ են մնում կեսական միավորով:
Կանանց մրցաշարի 6-րդ տուրի բոլոր հանդիպումներն ունեցան հաղթական ավարտ: Տաթև Աբրահամյանը պարտություն կրեց: Այս տուրում Իրինա Կռուշի նկատմամբ կարևոր հաղթանակ տոնեց Նազի Պայկիձեն: Այս հաղթանակի շնորհիվ Պայկիձեն սկսեց միանձնյա գլխավորել աղյուսակը: 4 միավորով երկրորդ հորիզոնականում է ընթանում Սաբինա-Ֆրանչեսկա Ֆոյսորը: Տաթև Աբրահամյանը 3 միավորով գտնվում է 7-րդ հորիզոնականում:
