Ռուսաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների 25-ամյա հոբելյանի կապակցությամբ, այդ երկրների ԱԳ նախարարները հոդվածներ են հրապարակել:

«Միջնորդների աջակցության շնորհիվ կողմերը կարողացել են զգալիորեն մոտեցնել իրենց դիրքորոշումները շատ վիճելի հարցերի շուրջ։ Հիմնականում համաձայնեցված են հակամարտության կարգավորման բազային սկզբունքները»։ «Բակինսկի ռաբոչիյ» թերթում հրապարակված հոդվածում այս մասին գրել է Ռուսաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը: Ըստ նրա, սակայն, Ադրբեջանն ու Հայաստանը տարբեր տեսակետներ ունեն այդ սկզբունքների իրագործման հերթականության հետ կապված։

«Այդ կապակցությամբ՝ մեր խնդիրն է արդեն կատարված աշխատանքների հիման վրա օգնել հավասարակշռված լուծում գտնել։ Հուսով ենք, որ Բաքուն և Երևանը կկարողանան փոխզիջումների գնալու քաղաքական կամք դրսևորել։ Սա անհրաժեշտ է, որպեսզի բանակցային գործընթացն արդյունավետ լինի։ Բնական է, որ հակամարտության գոտում լարվածության նվազումը և ուժային ճանապարհի բացառումը առաջ գնալու կարևոր պայմաններն են»,- գրել է Լավրովն ու շարունակել․«Բնականաբար, մենք շարունակում ենք մեծ ուշադրություն դարձնել ղարաբաղյան խնդրին։ Ռուսաստանն անկեղծորեն շահագրգռված է, որ տարածաշրջան վերադառնան խաղաղությունն ու հանգստությունը, որպեսզի այնտեղ դադարեն զոհվել մարդիկ, բացվեն սահմանները, երկրների միջև վերականգնվի առևտուրը: Մենք դրա համար անում ենք հնարավորը: Մեր առաքելությունն իրականացնում ենք ինչպես ինքնուրույն, այնպես Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ մյուս երկրների՝ Միացյալ նահանգների և Ֆրանսիայի հետ միասին»:
