Սիրիայում պատերազմի մոտալուտ դադարեցման հույսը վերջին ժամանակներս զգալիորեն աճել Է նախորդ տարիների համեմատությամբ: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, Սիրիայի նախագահ Բաշար Ասադը հայտարարել Է «Վեչեռնի լիստ» խորվաթական թերթին տված հարցազրույցում, որն ապրիլի 6-ին զետեղված Է նախագահական դիվանատան կայքում:
«Սիրիական բանակը մեծ հաջողությունների Է հասել ռազմաճակատում շնորհիվ իր մարտիկների հաստատակամության ու ժողովրդի տոկունության, ինչպես նաեւ Ռուսաստանի, Իրանի եւ լիբանանյան «Հըզբոլլահ» կուսակցության կողմից ցուցաբերվող ուժեղ աջակցության»,- ընդգծել Է Ասադը: Նրա խոսքով՝ կառավարական զորքերը սիրիական հողում ահաբեկիչների ելուզակախմբերին դիմակայող հիմնական ուժն են: «Սա քարոզչություն չԷ, մենք հենվում ենք իրական փաստերի վրա»,-ասել Է նա:
Նախագահի կողմից հարցազրույցի ընթացքում բերված տվյալների համաձայն, Սիրիայի տարածքում գտնվում են առվնազն 100 հազար ահաբեկիչներ:
«Մենք այլ ընտրություն չունենք, քան այդ պատերազմում հաղթելը: Եթե դա տեղի չունենա, Սիրիան կանհետանա Մերձավոր Արեւելքի քարտեզից»,-հավելել Է Ասադը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
