Գագիկ Համբարյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
Ադրբեջանա-իրանական հարաբերություններում նոր սկանդալ է հասունանում, որն էլ ավելի կսրի առանց այդ էլ բավական բարդ հարաբերությունները Բաքվի և Թեհրանի միջև։
Իրանական բանակի հետախուզության նախկին գեներալ, Արդեբիլ նահանգի նախկին նահանգապետ Մանսուր Հագիգատպուրը, հարցազրույց տալով Azariha.org-ին, մի քանի ուշագրավ և աղմկահարույց բացահայտումներ է արել իրանա-ադրբեջանական հարաբերությունների առումով, որոնք բացարձակ դուր չեն եկել պաշտոնական Բաքվին։
Հագիգատպուրը, ով ժամանակին ծառայել է իրանական ամենաէլիտար՝ Իսլամական հեղափոխության պահապանների կորպուսում, Արցախյան գոյամարտի տարիներին եղել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահի խորհրդականը։ Անդրադառնալով այդ ժամանակաշրջանին Մանսուր Հագիգատպուրն ասել է. «Մենք (Իրանը) փրկել ենք ադրբեջանական ժողովրդին, հակառակ դեպքում հայերը կարող էին վերցնել Բաքուն։ Մինչ օրս Ադրբեջանը 30 միլիոն դոլարի չափով պարտք ունի Իրանին։ Սակայն Իրանն առատաձեռն է և երբեք չի բարձրացրել այդ հարցը, բայց Ադրբեջանցի պաշտոնյաները անշնորհակալ դուրս եկան։ Եթե Իրանը ժամանակին չօգներ Ռովշան Ջավադովին, ապա հայերն այլ տարածքներ էլ կգրավեին։ Այդ օրերին մենք Բաքվում 6500 զինվորների ենք նախապատրաստել»։
Մանսուր Հագիգատպուրի այս անկեղծություններին անմիջապես արձագանքել է Ադրբեջանի Միլլի մեջլիսի պատգամավոր, Իլհամ Ալիևի կամակատար Սիյավուշ Նովրուզովն, ով իրանցի գեներալին մեղադրել է խաբեբայության և դավաճանության մեջ։ Ըստ Նովրուզովի՝ Հագիգատպուրը 1992-93 թթ-ին հայերին փոխանցել է հույժ գաղտնի տեղեկություններ, որի պատճառով մեծ վնաս է հասցրել Ադրբեջանի անվտանգությանը։ Նովրուզովը նաև տեղեկացրել է, որ իրանցի գեներալի դեմ Ադրբեջանում քրեական գործ է հարուցված, և Ինտերպոլով հայտարարված է հետախուզում։
Իրանցի գեներալի անկեղծությունները հիստերիա են առաջացրել Բաքվում։ Իլհամ բաբան բավական դժկամությամբ է ընդունում պարզ ճշմարտությունը։ ՌԵՄԲՈ Իլհամին դուր չի գալիս, երբ իրեն հիշեցնում են ոչ վաղ անցյալի իրենց պատմությունը, երբ ոչ միայն իրանցիների, այլ նաև ռուսների շնորհիվ էր, որ Ադրբեջան պետությունը չկործանվեց Արցախյան գոյամարտի տարիներին և գոյություն ունի մինչև հիմա։
Հագիգատպուրը առաջինը չէ նաև, որ բացահայտում է ադրբեջանցիների անշնորհակալ լինելը։ Մենք էլ որոշ ժամանակ առաջ թույլ տվեցինք, որ Բաքվի անհաջող դիվերսիոն փորձից հետո ապշերոնյան բռնապետի ասկյարների լեշերը դուրս բերվեին չեզոք գոտուց։ Պատասխանը մեկն էր. «Հայերը մեզ համար ոչինչ էլ չեն արել»։
