Մեծամորի հնավայրում արդեն երրորդ տարին է` պեղումներ է իրականացնում հայ-լեհական արշավախումբը: Այդ ուսումնասիրությունների ու հայտնաբերված բացառիկ գտածոների մասին ՀՀ-ում Լեհաստանի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Եժի Մարեկ Նովակովսկու միջոցով տեղեկացել է նաև Հայաստանում Եվրոպական միության պատվիրակության ղեկավար, դեսպան Պյոտր Անտոնի Սվիտալսկին: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին «Պատմամշակութային արգելոց-թանգարանների և պատմական միջավայրի պահպանության ծառայություն» ՊՈԱԿ-ի հասարակայնության հետ կապերի ու լրատվության բաժնից, ազգությամբ լեհ դիվանագետը հոկտեմբերի 1-ին այցելել է Մեծամորի հնավայր:
«Պահպանության ծառայություն» ՊՈԱԿ-ի տնօրենի գիտական գծով տեղակալ Աշոտ Փիլիպոսյանը հյուրին ծանոթացրել է Մեծամորի հնավայրի 50 տարվա պեղումների արդյունքներին: Մ.թ.ա. 5-րդ հազարամյակից մինչև մ.թ. 18-րդ դարն ընդգրկող գտածոներով էլ համալրվում է Մեծամոր պատմահնագիտական արգելոց-թանգարանի հավաքածուն: Համալրված ցուցադրության բացումը հոկտեմբերի 3-ին է:
«Մեծամորը եզակի հուշարձան է ողջ Մերձավոր Արևելքի համար: Համոզված եմ` մենք այս հնավայրում` բնակատեղիում, հողի տակ հազարամյակներ ծածկված դեռ այնպիսի հատվածներ կպեղենք, որոնք մարդու աչքից հեռու են մնացել, և վստահ եմ, որ պեղվելիք նյութը ոչ թե մեկ, այլ մի քանի սերունդների ուսաումնասիրության առարկա կդառնա: Իսկ հնավայրը կշարունակի տոնել պեղումների ոչ միայն 50, այլ 100 և ավելի ամյակները»,- Հայաստանում Եվրոպական միության պատվիրակության ղեկավարի հետ զրույցում նշել է Աշոտ Փիլիպոսյանը:
«Այն, ինչ այստեղ տեսա, շատ տպավորիչ է, սա կարևոր է ոչ միայն ձեր երկրի, այլև ամբողջ Եվրոպայի համար: Պետք է ոչ միայն առաջ շարժվել, այլ նաև հայացք նետել դեպի անցյալն ու իմանալ, թե որտեղից են մեր արմատները, որտեղից ենք սերում, ծանոթանալ ընդհանուր ժառանգականության մասին վկայող բոլոր կապերին` Մերձավոր Արևելք, Իրան, նույնիսկ Մոնղոլիա: Սա բացառիկ ցուցադրություն է, այսպիսի գտածոներ երբեք և ոչ մի տեղ չեմ տեսել: Այս հարստությունն է նաև Հայաստանի գրավչությունը»,-Մեծամորի թանգարանի համալրված ցուցադրությանը ծանոթանալուց հետո տպավորություններն Õ § փոխանցել Հայաստանում Եվրոպական միության պատվիրակության ղեկավար, արտակարդ և լիազոր դեսպան Պյոտր Անտոնի Սվիտալսկին:
Եվրոպացի դիվանագետը շրջել է նաև Մեծամորի հնավայրում և համոզմունք հայտնել, որ հնարավորության սահմաններում պետք է աջակցել, որպեսզի հայ-լեհական արշավախմբի կողմից իրականացվող պեղումները շարունակվեն:
