Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է DailyMail-ը, նոր հետազոտությունը ցույց է տալիս, որ մենակությունը կանանց այնպես չի վնասում, ինչպես տղամարդկանց, ուստի ամուսնությունն ավելի օգտակար է և առողջարար տղամարդկանց համար:
Հետազոտության ընթացքում գիտնականներն ուսումնասիրության են ենթարկել Անգլիայի, Շոտլանդիայի և Ուելսի 10 000 բնակչի մասին տվյալները:
Պարզվել է՝ միջին տարիքի կանայք, որոնք երբեք ամուսնացած չեն եղել, ենթակա են եղել հիվանդությունների, ինչպիսիք են դիաբետը, բարձր ճնշման հավանականությունը և ճարպակալման համադրությունը, որոնք հավասարազոր են նույն ռիսկին, ինչ և ամուսնացած կանայք:
