Մայրության եւ գեղեցկության տոնի առթիվ Սփյուռքի նախարարությունը համախմբել էր արցախյան ազատամարտի մասնակից կանանց, ինչպես նաեւ հերոսաբար նահատակված կին ազատամարտիկների մայրերին՝ եւս մեկ անգամ հիշելու եւ երախտապարտ լինելու նրանց սխրագործության համար:
Սփյուռքի նախարար Հրանուշ Հակոբյանը նշեց, որ հայոց պատմության բազմաթիվ էջերում նշվում են կին ազատամարտիկների դերն ու նշանակությունը, նրանց, ովքեր միշտ կանգնած են եղել տղամարդու կողքին:
«Փառք ու պատիվ եւ խոնարհում այն աղջիկների հիշատակի առջեւ, ովքեր ընկան, որ այսօր մենք շարունակենք երկրի զարգացումը: Կարծում եմ՝ ընտանիքը, որտեղ մեծանում է երեխան՝ տղա, թե աղջիկ, նրան պետք է դաստիարակի ազգային-հայրենասիրական ոգով: Եվ այսօր առանձնացնելով, մեծարելով այս մայրերին՝ ուզում ենք ասել, որ հայ կինը բոլոր ժամանակներում միշտ եղել է տղամարդկանց կողքին: Պատմության էջերում ունենք հարյուրավոր դեպքեր, երբ հայ կինը մարտնչել է հայրենիքի փրկության եւ ազատության համար, տղամարդուն հավասար ոչ միայն բժշկել է վերքեր, այլեւ վերքերով կար ողացել է թշնամուն հետ մղել»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասաց նա:
Միջոցառման շրջանակում մեկ առ մեկ հիշվեցին ազատամարտում հերոսաբար նահատակված կին զինվորականները՝ Մարինե Պողոսյանը, Ալվարդ Վարդանյանը, Հեղինե Բդոյանը, Ռուզաննա Եսայանը, Զոյա Մարտիրոսյանը, Նաիրա Սահակյանը, Հասմիկ Բալասյանը, Նարինե Սարգսյանը, Նունե Աբրահամյանը, Ադելինա Աբրահամյանը եւ այլք:
Ներկաների շարքում էր «Անահիտ» դասակի հրամանատար Անահիտ Մարտիրոսյանը, ով արցախյան ազատամարտում Արցախի հերոս Արկադի Տեր-Թադեւոսյանի (Կոմանդոսի) հետ հերոսական պայքար է մղել հակառակորդի դեմ:
«Իմ ջոկատը բաղկացած է եղել 28 տղամարդուց: Եղել ենք Մարտակերտի շրջանում, եւ կողք կողքի ինձ հետ մարտնչել են իմ մարտական ընկերուհիները, որոնց ես տեսել եմ առաջնագծում: Մենք ծառայել ենք, ծառայում ենք եւ կծառայենք հանուն հայրենիքի, հանուն մեր հողի, հանուն դիրքերում կանգնած մեր յուրաքանչյուր զինվորի»,-ասաց դասակի հրամանատարը:
