«168 ժամ» թերթը գրում է. «Միացյալ Թագավորությունում 1 կՎտ.ժ. էլեկտրաէներգիան 2014թ. արժեր է 20.1 եվրոսենթ, Հայաստանում՝ 7.6 եվրոսենթ։ Շա՞տ կզարմանաք, եթե ասենք, որ իրականում Միացյալ Թագավորությունում էլեկտրաէներգիան բնակչի համար շուրջ 5 անգամ ավելի մատչելի է, քան Հայաստանում։ Զարմանալու կարիք չի լինի, եթե հաշվի առնեք, որ Հայաստանում միջին աշխատավարձը եվրոյով (հարկերը հանած) 2014թ. կազմել է 229 եվրո, ՄԹ-ում՝ 2993 եվրո։

Ըստ այդմ, 100 կՎտ.ժ էներգիայի ծախսը Հայաստանում կազմում է միջին աշխատավարձի 3.3 տոկոսը, Միացյալ Թագավորությունում՝ ընդամենը 0.7 տոկոսը։ Այսինքն, էլեկտրաէներգիայի վրա ծախսված գումարը անգլիացու աշխատավարձի մեջ չնչին տոկոս է կազմում եւ բեռ չի ներկայացնում։

Թանկ ու էժանը գնահատելու համար բավարար չէ համեմատել միայն ֆիքսված սակագները։ Խնդիրն այն է՝ այդ սակագինը մատչելի՞ է բնակչի համար, թե՞ ոչ։ Իսկ համեմատության դեպքում ստացվում է, որ Հայաստանը էլեկտրաէներգիայի մատչելիության առումով եվրոպական եւ տարածաշրջանային երկրների շարքում զբաղեցնում է նախավերջին տեղը։

Այնպես որ, երբ ՀԷՑ-ը ցանկանում է թանկացնել սակագինը ու որպես օրինակ բերում է եվրոպական երկրների սակագները, պետք է նկատի ունենա, որ կա՛մ Հայաստանում էլեկտրաէներգիայի սակագինը պետք է իջնի, կա՛մ աշխատավարձերը էապես բարձրանան։ Դրանից հետո նոր միայն կարելի կլինի համեմատվել եվրոպացիների հետ»:
