Հռոմի Ֆրանցիսկոս պապը Եգիպտոսի Տանտա եւ Ալեքսանդրիայի քրիստոնեական եկեղեցիներում ահաբեկիչների կողմից իրականացված ահաբեկչական գործողություններից հետո, որոնք ավելի քան 40 մարդու կյանք են խլել, մտադիր չԷ հրաժարվել այդ երկիր կատարելիք ուղեւորությունից, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
Ինչպես Corriere della Sera թերթում հրապաակված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել Է Սուրբ Աթոռի պետքարտուղարի ընդհանուր գործերով տեղակալ արքեպիսկոպոս Անջելո Բեչուն, տեղի ունեցածը «չի կարող խանգարել քահանայապետի խաղաղության առաքելությանը»: «Ոչ մի կասկած չկա, որ քահանայապետը կկատարի խոստումը»,-ասել Է կարդինալը:
Ավելի վաղ Եգիպտոսի նախագահ Աբդել Ֆաթահ աս Սիսին երկրում երեք ամսով արտակարգ դրության ռեժիմ Է հայտարարել ապրիլի 9-ին ղպտի եկեղեցիների մոտ երկու պայթյուններից հետո:
27 ուխտավորներ, որոնք Տանտա քաղաքի Սբ. Գեւորգի եկեղեցի Էին եկել Երուսաղեմ Տիրոջ մո ւտքի (Ծաղկազարդի կիրակիի) քրիստոնեական տոնին, զոհվել են առաջին պայթյունի ժամանակ: Եվս 16 մարդ զոհվել Է Ալեքսանդիրայի Սբ. Մարկոսի տաճարում իրականացված պայթյունից:

Հռոմի պապը Եգիպտոս առաքելական ուղեւորություն Է կատարելու ապրիլի 28-29-ին հանրապետության նախագահ Աբդել Ֆաթահ աս Սիսիի, կաթոլիկ եկեղեցու եպիսկոպոսների, ղպտի պատրիարք Թավադրոս Երկրորդի եւ «Ալ Ազհար» համալսարանի գերագույն իմամ շեյխ Ահմեդ աթ Թեիբի հրավերով, հաղոր դել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
