Սիրիան եւ ԿԺԴՀ-ն համատեղ դիմակայում են «խոշոր տերությունների խելահեղ հավակնություններին», որոնք մտադիր են իրենց ենթարկել մյուս երկրներին: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ասված Է Սիրիայի նախագահ Բաշար Ասադի շնորհավորական հեռագրում, որը նա ուղարկել Է ԿԺԴՀ-ի առաջնորդ Կիմ Չեն Ընի պապի՝ Կիմ Իր Սենի ծննդյան օրվա (ապրիլի 15) 105-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ: Ուղերձի տեքստը տարածել Է ՑՏԱԿ լրատվական գործակալությունը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
«Երկու բարեկամ երկրները նշում են այդ տարեդարձը, բայց միաժամանակ վճռականորեն դիմակայում են խոշոր տերությունների խելահեղ հավակնություններին, որոնք մտադիր են մյուս երկրներին իրենց ենթարկել նվաճողական ու զավթողական քաղաքականության օգնությամբ, զրկել նրանց ինքնորոշման իրավունքից»,- նշվում Է ուղերձում:
Ինչպես նշել Է Ասադը, ներկայում «Սիրիան եւ ԿԺԴՀ-ն վճռական պայքար են մղում ինքնորոշման իրավունքի համար, պաշտպանում են ազգային ինքնիշխանությունն ու անվտանգությունը»:
Սիրիական պետության ղեկավարը վստահություն Է հայտնել, որ «Սիրիայի եւ ԿԺԴՀ-ի միջեւ հաստատված բարեկամության ու համագործակցության հարաբերությունները առաջվա պես կզարգանան ի շահ երկու երկրների ժողովուրդների», հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
