Վեդու ջրամբարի տեսլականը

Կարինա Սանթրոսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
2015 թվականին Զարգացման ֆրանսիական գործակալության հետ կնքվել էր 75 մլն եվրո արժողությամբ վարկային համաձայնագիր՝ Վեդու ջրամբարի շինարարական աշխատանքների ֆինանսավորման նպատակով: 90 մլն եվրո արժողությամբ ծրագիրն իրականացվում է ինչպես Զարգացման ֆրանսիական գործակալության վարկային միջոցների հաշվին, այնպես էլ ՀՀ կառավարության համաֆինանսավորմամբ:
Նշված ֆինանսավորման առկայության պարագայում արդեն իսկ մեկնարկել է Վեդու ջրամբարի կառուցումը: Ջրամբարի կառուցումը Հայաստանի համար ունի էկոլոգիական և գյուղատնտեսական կարևոր նշանակություն: 29 մլն խմ ընդհանուր տարողությամբ այս ջրամբարի կառուցման պարագայում Արարատյան դաշտի շուրջ 7500 հեկտար հողատարածք շուտով կապահովվի հուսալի ոռոգմամբ։
Այս նախագիծն էական նշանակություն կունենա նաև Սևանա լճի էկոլոգիական հավասարակշռության վերականգնման հարցում: Տեղումների նվազումը և ջրի օգտագործման կտրուկ աճը, մասնավորապես` ձկնաբուծության նպատակով, բերել է նրան, որ ավելի շատ ջուր է վերցվում ջրային ռեսուրսներից, ինչը բացասաբար է ազդում շրջակա միջավայրի վրա: Ու չնայած դրան, ոռոգման օպտիմալ պահանջարկը չի բավարարվում:
Նախագիծը հնարավորություն կտա ոռոգումն իրականացնել ինքնահոս եղանակով` ներկայիս մեխանիկականի փոխարեն: Արդյունքում մի շարք ջրհան կայաններ կհանվեն շահագործումից, ինչը կնպաստի նաև համակարգի առավել արդյունավետ գործունեությանը:
