ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել Է, որ ինքը չի պլանավորում «մտնել» Սիրիա, չնայած այն բանին, որ անցյալ շաբաթ հրաման տվեց հրթիռահարված հասցնել Սիրիայի ռազմակայանին: Այս մասին նա հայտարարել Է Fox Business հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցի ժամանակ, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
«Մենք չենք պատրաստվում մտնել Սիրիա»,- հայտարարել Է Թրամփը: «Բայց երբ ես տեսնում եմ մարդկանց, որոնք օգտագործում են զարհուրելի, զարհուրելի քիմիական զենք, եւ տեսնում եմ այդ հիանալի երեխաներին, մեռած, հայրերի ձեռքներին, կամ դուք տեսնում եք, թե ինչպես են երեխաները խեղդվելով մեռնում…»,- ասել Է նա՝ ընդգծելով, որ հենց այդ պատկերն Է իրեն հարկադրել «անհապաղ զանգահարելու» Պենտագոնի ղեկավար Ջեյմս Մեթիսին:
Թրամփի կարծիքով՝ նախկին նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման պետք Է Սպիտակ տանն իր գտնվելու ժամանակ միջոցներ ձեռնարկեր: «Այն, ինչ ես արեցի, պետք Է արվեր Օբամայի վարչակազմի կողմից, այն բանից շատ ավելի առաջ, երբ ես դա արեցի»,- ասել Է Թրամփը:
Նա Սիրիայի նախագահ Բաշար Ասադին անվանել Է «անասուն»: Պուտինը պաշտպանում Է շատ չար մարդու: Ես կարծում եմ՝ դա շատ վատ Է Ռուսաստանի համար: Ես կարծում եմ՝ դա շատ վատ Է մարդկության համար»,- հավելել Է ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահը:
