Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման համար խիստ կարևոր են խաղաղ բանակցությունները: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին ադրբեջանական Trend գործակալությանը ասել է Ադրբեջանում Միացյալ Նահանգների դեսպան Ռոբերտ Սեկուտան:
«Այս հակամարտությունը չունի ռազմական լուծում: Կարևոր է, որ կողմերը հավաքվեն և աշխատեն խաղաղ կարգավորման փնտրտուքի շուրջ: Այս հակամարտությունն արդեն շատ երկար է շարունակվում»,- նշել է նա:
Սեկուտան ընդգծել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն ակտիվորեն աշխատում է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի միջնորդությամբ` օգնելու կողմերին միասին հասնելու հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանը: «Մենք պետք է օգնենք կողմերին շարժվել առաջ»,- ասել է դեսպանը:
Անդրադառնալով Մինսկի խմբի նոր ԱՄՆ համանախագահին` Ռիչարդ Հոգլանդին` Սեկուտան բարձր է գնահատել նրա որակները: «Հոգլանդը շատ էներգետիկ և ուժեղ խաղացող է: Կարծում եմ, որ նա իսկապես կօգնի այս գործընթացն առաջ տանել»,- նշել է նա:
Խոսելով շփման գծում հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտումների մասին` դեսպանը բացառել է խնդրի կարգավորման ռազմական ճանապարհը: «Բռնությունը ոչ ոքի չի օգնի: Իսկապես կարևոր է, որ կողմերը միասին հավաքվեն` գտնելու առաջ տանող ուղին և հասնեն խաղաղ կարգավորման: Դա կարևոր է տարածաշրջանի բոլոր մարդկանց համար»,- հայտարարել է դեսպանը:
