Սիրիական զարգացումները չեն հանգեցնի համաշխարհային պատերազմի: Նման համոզմունք հայտնեց արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Արման Նավասարդյանն ապրիլի 12-ին հրավիրված ասուլիսում:

«Այն ձեռքբերումները, որոնք կային ԱՄՆ-ի և ՌԴ-ի միջև միջազգային, աշխարհաքաղաքական խնդիրների համատեքստում հետ կշպրտվեն մի քանի տարով: Հիմա կարծես սառը պատերազմի տպավորություն կա, եւ հարաբերությունները  սրված են միանշանակ, եւ դա առաջին հերթին կանդրադառնա Սիրիայի գործընթացների վրա: Կարծում եմ՝ Ասադը այլեւս ապագա չունի այդ խնդիրներում, որովհետեւ, ըստ իս, այստեղ այնպիսի գործոններ աշխատեցին՝ քիմիական զենք և այլն, և այլն, որ փաստորեն այսօրվա Սիրիայի իշխանությունների դեմ դուրս եկավ ամբողջ քաղաքակիրթ աշխարհը»-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝  լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց նա:

Դեսպանի խոսքով՝ ստեղծված իրավիճակը խոսում է Սիրիայի մասնատման մասին:

«Միգուցե համարձակ եզրակացության եմ հանգում, բայց այդ բանը ես զգում եմ: «ԴԱԻՇ»-ի խնդիրը, որում, կարծես թե, առաջընթաց կար, լրիվ հակառակ ուղղությամբ կզարգանա: Նրանք հիմա ավելի կլկտիանան: Չնայած Թրամփը հայտարարեց, որ կոչնչացնեն, արմատախիլ կանեն, բայց խիստ կասկածում եմ, որ կկարողանան՝ ճանաչելով եւ իմանալով, թե ինչ է իրենից ներկայացնում «ԴԱԻՇ»-ը: Նրանք ինչ-որ առիթով հեռանում են ռազմական գործողություններից, այնուամենայնիվ, տարրալուծվում են տարբեր տեղերում և թափանցում են ազգաբնակչության մեջ, տարբեր տարածաշրջաններում, որի փայլու վկայություններից մեկը Ռուսաստանի, Եվրոպայի ահաբեկչական գործողություններն են»,-նշեց Արման Նավասարդյանը:

Նա ընդգծեց, որ վերոնշյալ զարգացումները միանշանակ կանդրադառնան նաեւ Հարավային Կովկասի վրա:

«Կար նման կարծիք, որ ԱՄՆ-ն Հարավային Կովկասին ուշադրություն չի դարձնում, տարածաշրջանը Ռուսաստանի ազդեցության ոլորտում էր, հիմա կարծես դա երկրորդ պլան է մղվում: Ես գրեթե համոզված եմ՝ ԱՄՆ-ի կարեւոր ուղղություններից մեկը լինելու է տարածաշրջանը, քանի որ այստեղ այնպիսի մի թնջուկ է ստեղծել, որը կարող է  հանգեցնել բոլորովին նոր քաղաքական իրավիճակի:  Հայաստանի քայլերը ճիշտ ու գրագետ  պետք է լինեն»,-եզրափակեց նա:
