Այսօր ավագ ուրբաթ է `Հիսուս Քրիստոսի չարչարանաց, խաչելության, մահվան ու թաղման հիշատակության օրը

Ավագ ուրբաթը Հիսուս Քրիստոսի չարչարանաց, խաչելության, մահվան ու թաղման հիշատակության օրն է: Այդ օրը տեղի է ունենում Խաչելության կարգ: Երեկոյան ժամերգությունից հետո նախատոնակի արարողության ընթացքում կատարվում է Թաղման կարգ, երբ Հիսուս Քրիստոսի խորհրդանշական գերեզմանը՝ պատրաստված ծաղիկներից և ծառի ճյուղերից, պտտում են եկեղեցու շուրջ՝ ի տես հավատավոր ժողովրդի: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` Qahana.am կայքը գրում է, որ Ավագ Ուրբաթը խորհրդանշում է արարչության վեցերորդ օրը, երբ Աստված հողից արարեց Ադամին Իր պատկերով ու նմանությամբ, իսկ հետո նրա կողից ստեղծեց Եվային և նրանց դրեց Դրախտում: Ուրբաթ օրը Ադամն ու Եվան կերան արգելված պտուղը, մերկացան փառքից, և Տերն անեծքով պատժելով մարդուն՝ արտաքսեց Դրախտից:

 Վեցերորդ ժամանակաշրջանում Աստված Ս. Կույսի անարատ արգանդում դարձավ կատարյալ Մարդ՝ հոգով, մտքով ու մարմնով, որպեսզի կատարի տնօրինական գործերը: Ավագ ուրբաթ օրը Տերը Հուդայի մատնությամբ ձերբակալվեց, ծեծի ու ծաղրի ենթարկվեց և ապա, Իր վրա վերցնելով Ադամի անեծքն ու դատապարտությունը, խաչի վրա մեռնելով, բացեց Իր կողը, և կողից բխած ջրով լվաց մարդու մեղքերը, իսկ բխած արյամբ մեզ գնեց չարի ծառայությունից (Մատթ. ԻԶ 47-ԻԷ 56): Եվ ինչպես Ադամի կողից ստեղծվեց նրա կինը՝ Եվան, այդպես էլ Տիրոջ կողից եղավ Նրա հարսը՝ Եկեղեցին: Այսօր թեպետ ուրախություն է հոգ իների համար, քանի որ Քրիստոսի չարչարանքներով մեր հոգիներն ազատվեցին դժոխքից, սակայն մարմնապես սուգ է ու տրտմություն:
