1. Ամենաարագ ինքնագոլը գրանցվել է 60-ականներին՝ Իտալիայում: «Բրեշիայի» պաշտպան Մացցիան սեփական դարպասը գրավել է խաղի 38-րդ վայրկյանին:
2. Ֆուտբոլային կանոնների իռլանդացի փորձագետ Ջոն Պենալտին 1891թ. առաջարկեց տուգանային հրապարակում պաշտպանի կոպիտ կամ ձեռքով խաղի դեպքում նշանակել 11 մետրանոց տուգանային հարված, որը հետագայում փորձագետի պատվին կոչեցին «պենալտի» անունով:
3. Ֆուտբոլային ամենաերկար խաղը գրանցվել է 1881 թ., երբ իռլանդական երկու ակումբները՝ Կալինաֆերսն ու Ֆերրին խաղացել են 65 ժամ 1 րոպե:
4. Կան երկրներ, որտեղ ֆուտբոլը պետականորեն արգելված է: Այդպիսիք են՝ Գրենլանդիան, Կամբոջան, Աֆղանստանը: Իսկ ահա ԱՄՆ-ի Յութա նահանգում այն թույլատրվում է միայն մի պայմանով՝ եթե խաղադաշտը լինի եկեղեցուց ոչ ավել, քան 1.5 կմ հեռավորության վրա:
5. 1967թ. Գերմանիայում ֆուտբոլային հանդիպումներից մեկի ավարտից մի քանի րոպե առաջ թիմերից մեկի հաշվին գոլ գրանցվեց: Մրցավարը չնկատեց, որ գոլը խփվել է ձեռքով եւ արձանագրեց այն, որից հետո խաղադաշտ մտավ տեղի քահանան և սկսեց համոզել հաղթող թիմին խոստովանել ճշմարտությունը: Քահանայի խոսքերն իրենց ազդեցությունն ունեցան ու ֆուտբոլիստները խոստովանեցին, որ գոլը խփվել է ձեռքով, իսկ մրցավարն անհապաղ փոխեց որոշումը:
6. Ֆուտբոլային խոշորագույն հաշիվը գրանցվել է Մադագասկարում կայացած հանդիպման ժամանակ: Բարձրագույն առաջնության շրջանակում կայացած հանդիպման ժամանակ Մադագասկարի չեմպիոն AS Adema-ն հաղթել է Stade Olympique l’Emyrne-ին` 149:0 հաշվով: Սակայն դատեղի է ունեցել միայն այն պատճառով, որ մրցավարն ի սկզբանե անարդար որոշում է կայացրել, իսկ պարտվող թիմի անդամները սկսել են անդադար իրենց իսկ դարպասն ուղարկել գնդակը՝ որպես բողոքի նշան, այդպիսով պարտվելով 149:0 հաշվով:
7. Իսպանական լիգայի հանդիպումներից մեկի ժամանակ խաղացողները վիրավորում էին մրցավարին, ինչին էլ վերջինս հետևյալ կերպ պատասխանեց. նա բոլոր 22 խաղացողներին կարմիր քարտ ցույց տվեց և հեռացրեց խաղից:
8. 1976 թ. գարնանը խաղում էին անգլիական երկու ակումբներ Լեսթեր Սիթին և Ասթոն Վիլլան: Խաղն ավարտվեց 2:2 հաշվով, և բոլոր 4 գոլերը խփել էր Ասթոն Վիլլայի անդամ Քրիս Նիկոլը:
9. 1950թ. Հնդկաստանի ազգային հավաքականը զրկվել է աշխարհի առաջնությանը մասնակցելու իրավունքից, քանի որ ՖԻՖԱ-ն արգելել էր հնդիկ ֆուտբոլիստներին բոբիկ ոտքերով խաղալ:
10. 2005թ. անգլիական լիգայի գավաթի եզրափակիչ խաղի ժամանակ մարզադաշտում արձանագրված աղմուկի ուժգնությունը ռեկորդային էր: Լիվերպուլի խաղացող Ռիսեի` Չելսիի դարպասին խփած գոլից հետո երկրպագուների աղմուկը հասավ 130,7 դեցիբելի, որն արձանագրվեց Գինեսի ռեկորդների գրքում:
