«Արսենալի» կիսապաշտպան Մեսութ Օզիլն իր ինքնակենսագրականում պատմել է, որ անցած ամառ հրաժարվել է տեղափոխվել Չինաստան.
«Չինաստանից ես առաջարկ ստացա անցած ամառ, բայց այն չափազանց աբսուրդային էր:
Նրանք ինձ 5 տարվա համար պատրաստ էին 100 մլն ֆունտ վճարել: Հեքիաթային գումար, որն իմ պատկերացումներից դուրս էր: Չնայած դրան, ինձանից 3 րոպեից էլ քիչ ժամանակ պահանջվեց՝ առաջարկը մերժելու համար:
Իմ գործակալ Էրկուտը զանգահարեց ինձ ու ասաց. «Հուսով եմ՝ մենք պայմանավորվել ենք, թե ինչ ենք անելու հետագայում, այդպես չէ՞: Դու չես մտածի այդ առաջարկի շուրջ, չէ՞»:
Ես պատասխանեցի. «Դեռ շատ ժամանակ կա մինչև կարիերաս ավարտեմ: Ես դեռ ցանկանում եմ տիտղոսներ նվաճել «Արսենալի» հետ: Չեմ ցանկանում խաղալ Չինաստանում, անկախ նրանից, թե նրանք որքան են պատրաստ վճարել ինձ: Ոչ մի դեպքում»: Այդպես այդ հարցը լուծվեց:
Ի դեպ, ՉԺՀ-ի նախագահ Սին Ծինպինը ֆուտբոլի երկրպագու է: Մի անգամ «Արսենալի» տնօրենն ինձ հայտնեց, որ Սի Ծինպինը կապ է հաստատել ակումբի հետ և խնդրել իմ մարզաշապիկը՝ ստորագրությամբ: Իրականում նա ցանկանում էր Գերմանիայի հավաքականի մարզաշապիկը: Նույն օրն առաքիչը վերցրեց մարզաշապիկն իմ տնից»,- Օզիլի ինքնակենսագրականի այս հատվածը մեջբերել է «Daily Mail»-ը:
