Անգելա Մերկելը Թուրքիայի իշխանություններին կոչ է արել հաղթահարել հասարակության պառակտումը

Գերմանիայի կառավարությունը Թուրքիային կոչ է արել երկրում երկխոսություն փնտրել բոլոր քաղաքական ու հասարակական ուժերի հետ՝ սահմանադրական հանրաքվեից հետո, որի արդյունքում, համաձայն նախնական տվյալների, ընտրողների աննշան մեծամասնությունն աջակցել է սահմանադրական բարեփոխումներին, որոնք զգալիորեն ընդլանյում են նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի լիազորությունները։
Ձայների գրեթե հավասար բաշխումը ցույց է տալիս, թե որքան խորն է պառակտումը թուրքական հասարակության մեջ եւ ընդգծում այն մեծ պատասխանատվությունը, որն ընկած է պետության ղեկավարների ու անձամբ նախագահ Էրդողանի ուսերին։ Այս մասին ասվում է Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելի եւ Արտաքին գործերի նախարար Զիգմար Գաբրիելի համատեղ հայտարարությունում։
Մերկելն ու Գաբրիելը հայտարարել են, որ Գերմանիայի կառավարությունն ընդունում է քվեարկության նախնական արդյունքներն ու հարգում թուրք քաղաքացիների իրավունքը՝ որոշում ընդունել սեփական սահմանադրական կարգի վերաբերյալ։ Նրանք նաեւ նշել են, որ ԵԱՀԿ Ժողովրդավարական կառույցների ու մարդու իրավունքների բյուրոյի ղեկավար Միխայել Լինքը կասկածել է, որ հանրաքվե անցկացնելու համար արդար պայմաններ են ստեղծվել, իսկ Եվրոպայի խորհրդի վենետիկյան հանձնաժողովը մտահոգություն է հայտնել հանրաքվեի ընթացակարգի հետ կապված։
Մերկելն ու Գաբրիելը նշել են նաեւ, որ որպես Եվրոպայի խորհրդի, ԵԱՀԿ անդամ եւ Եվրամիություն մուտք գործելու թեկնածու երկիր, որը պարտավոր է հետեւել ժողովրդավարության ու հիմնարար ազատությունների ԵՄ չափանիշներին, Թուրքիան պետք է լրջորեն վերաբերվի այդ կարծիքներին։
