Ալեքսանդր Իսկանդարյանը ԵՄ-ին Թուրքիայի անդամակցության որևէ նախադրյալ չի տեսնում

Եվրոպայի համար օրակարգային հարց չէ Թուրքիայի անդամակցությունը Եվրոպական Միությանը: Ապրիլի 18-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը նման կարծիք հայտնեց քաղաքագետ Ալեքսանդր Իսկանդարյանը: Նրա խոսքով` այս պահին Եվրոպական Միությանը Թուրքիայի անդամակցության որևէ նախադրյալ չկա:
«Այս պահին այդ հարցով որևէ բանակցություն չի ընթանում: Դրա համար երկու պատճառ կա: Առաջինն այն է, որ Թուրքիան այս պահին ավելի շատ Եգիպտոսը հիշեցնող երկրի է նման, ոչ թե եվրոպական: Երկրորդ պատճառն էլ այն է, որ Եվրոպայի համար հիմա Թուրքիայի ժամանակը չէ: Եվրոպական Միության համար դա օրակարգային հարց չէ»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` ասաց քաղաքագետը:
Ալեքսանդր Իսկանդարյանն անդրադարձավ նաև ՆԱՏՕ-Թուրքիա հարաբերություններին` ընդգծելով, որ այստեղ իրավիճակն այլ է, քանի որ Թուրքիան ՆԱՏՕ-ի համար շատ կարևոր նշանակություն ունեցող երկիր է: Նրա գնահատմամբ` ՆԱՏՕ-ից Թուրքիայի դուրս գալու մասին խոսք լինել չի կարող, քանի որ Թուրքիան, ԱՄՆ-ից հետո ՆԱՏՕ-ի երկրորդ կարևոր երկիրն է: Թուրքիան աշխարհաքաղաքական այնպիսի դիրքում է, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ի համար շատ կարևոր նշանակություն ունի, ուստի քաղաքագետը լուրջ չի համարում Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքից Թուրքիայի դուրս գալու մասին խոսակցությունները:
