Ինչ տեսք ունի այսօր Նագասակիի ռմբակոծության ժամանակ ողջ մնացած տղամարդը

Սումիտերու Տանիգուչին այն հաջողակներից է, որոնք ողջ են մնացել Նագասակիի ռմբակոծությունից հետո: Նա ծնվել է 1929 թ. և 1945 թ. օգոստոսի 9-ին ընդամենը 16 տարեկան էր: Ավելի քան 70 տարի է անցել այն ժամանակներից, սակայն սարսափելի հիշողությունները մինչ օրս էլ հանգիստ չեն տալիս Տանիգուչիին:
Տանիգուչիի մարմինը պատված է սարսափազդու վերքերով, որոնք ցավում և մրմռում են անգամ այսօր, չնայած որ նրա կինը պարբերաբար մերսում է սպիները հատուկ քսուքներով: Այդ սպիերը գրեթե ամբողջովին ծածկել են տղամարդու մարմինը, իսկ նրա կրծքի հատվածում նկատելի ուռուցք կա: Կոտրված երեք կողերի մնացորդները, որոնք արդեն կիսով չափ փտել են, թոքերն են վնասում՝ դժվարացնելով շնչառությունը:
Օգոստոսյան այդ օրը, երբ Նագասակիի վրա ռումբ ընկավ, Տանիգուչին էպիկենտրոնից մոտ 2 կմ հեռավորության վրա էր գտնվում: Պայթյունը նրան ցած նետեց հեծանիվից: Տանիգուչին ասում է, որ հաջորդ երեք օրերի ընթացքում ամբողջովին անզգայացած և ապակողմնորոշված վիճակում էր գտնվում, իսկ նրա մաշկը պլոկվել էր մեջքից և ուսերից:
Գրեթե երկու տարի շարունակ դեռահասը պառկած է եղել փորի վրա՝ երբեմն կորցնելով գիտակցությունը, երբեմն գիտակցության գալով, մինչև որ բուժվեցին նրա վիրավոր ոսկորներն ու այրված մեջքը: Տանիգուչին լավ է հիշում, թե ինչպես էին բուժքույրերը անդադար միմյանց հարցնում՝ շնչում է ինքը, թե ոչ: Նրա վիճակը ծայրահեղ ծանր էր, և այն փաստը, որ տղամարդը ողջ է մնացել, իսկական հրաշք է:
Այսօր Սումիտերու Տանիգուչին մարդկանց մի խումբ է գլխավորում, որոնք ողջ են մնացել Նագասակիի դեպքից հետո, և ակտիվորեն հակադրվում է միջուկային զենքի տարածմանը՝ չնայած նրան, որ երիտասարդ ժամանակ ուժերը առավել տեղին էին: Նա կարծում է, որ ոչ ոք երբեք չպետք է տառապի այն սարսափելի ցավերից, որոնք հասցնում է միջուկային զենքը: «Ես ցանկանում եմ, որ դա վերանա»,- ասում է ճապոնացին:
