Երկրին Է մոտենում JO25 աստղակերպը՝ շուրջ կես կիլոմետր լայնությամբ: Ապրիլի լույս 20-ի գիշերն այն երկրին կմոտենա 1,8 միլիոն կիլոմետր հեռավորությամբ (Երկրից մինչեւ Լուսին մոտավորապես հինգ հեռավորություն), տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին:
Դա նման տիեզերական մարմնի մոտենալու առավելագույն փոքր հեռավորություն ն Է վերջին 400 տարվա ընթացքում, ճշտել են Միացյալ Նահանգների NASA տիեզերական գործակալությունում, թեեւ ավելի մանր տիեզերական մարմիններ կանոնավոր կերպով թռչում են Երկրի մոտով նաեւ ավելի փոքր հեռավորությամբ:
JO25 աստղակերպն իրական սպառնալիք չի ներկայացնում մոլորակի համար, թեեւ այն տիեզերական օբյեկտների ցանկում Է, որոնք պոտենցիալ կերպով վտանգավոր են Երկրի վրա կյանքի համար:
Աստղակերպը կթռչի ռեկորդային բարձր արագությամբ՝ վայրկյանում շուրջ 33 կիլոմետր, դա ժամում շուրջ 120 հազար կիլոմետր Է:
Երկրին մոտենալու պահին աստղակերպը, դրա փայլուն մակերեւույթի շնորհիվ, կարելի Է դիտել նույնիսկ ոչ մեծ աստղադիտակներով:
