 Ինչպես արդեն հայտնի է՝ «Նոր ալիք 2017»-ին Հայաստանը երկու ներկայացուցիչ կունենա՝ Սյուզաննա Մելքոնյանն ու Էռնա Միրզոյանը: Սակայն Էռնա Միրզոյանի՝ ծնունդով արցախցի լինելու փաստը Ադրբեջանի համար նոր հիստերիայի պատճառ է դարձել: Հայտնի է, որ Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի եւ մշակույթի ու զբոսաշրջության նախարարություններն ուսումնասիրում են «Նոր ալիք» միջազգային մրցույթին Էռնա Միրզոյանի մասնակցության հարցը: Ինչպես նաեւ հաղորդվում է, որ  Ադրբեջանի ԱԳՆ մամուլի խոսնակ Հիքմեթ Գաջիեւը կուսումնասիրի հարցը եւ կձեռնարկի բոլոր անհրաժեշտ միջոցները՝ Էռնայի մասնակցությունը այս մրցույթում խոչընդոտելու համար:
 
 Life.panorama.am-ը, տեղեկանալու համար, թե մեր կողմն ի՞նչ միջոցներ է պատրաստվում ձեռք առնել եւ ինչպե՞ս պաշտպանել մեր մասնակցի իրավունքները, կապ հաստատեց Էռնայի Միրզոյանի եւ «Արցախի ձայն» խմբի պրդյուսեր Լիրա Քոչարյանի հետ:
  Մեզ հետ զրույցում պրոդյուսերը նկատեց, որ Ադրբեջանը չունի իրավական ոչ մի իրավունք նման խոչընդոտներ ստեղծելու համար:
«Իհարկե, որպես պրոդյուսեր, կարող եմ շատ ճիշտ ու դիպուկ պատասխան տալ Ադրբեջանին, սակայն ինքս փորձում եմ դեռեւս հանդարտություն ցուցաբերել: Իրավաբանորեն Էռնան մասնակցել է «Նոր ալիքին» որպես Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչ, այլ ոչ՝ Արցախի: էռնան ունի Հայաստանի քաղաքացիություն եւ հետեւաբար նա պիտի Հայաստանի դրոշի տակ մասնակցի: Արդեն մի քանի տարի է, ինչ «Նոր ալիքի» կազմակերպիչներն ինձ ճանաչում են, գիտեն, որ ես պարբերաբար լավ մասնակիցներ եմ ուղարկում այս մրցույթում, էլ չասեմ, որ այնտեղ շատ լավ գիտեն, որ գոյություն ունի Արցախը եւ դա անջնջելի փաստ է, թեեւ գիտակցելով մի շարք խնդիրներ՝ մենք, ամեն տարի այս մրցույթում մասնակիցներ ներկայացնելիս, Հայաստանի անունով ենք հայտն ուղարկում: Հետեւաբար, Ադրբեջանը, եթե անգամ շատ ցանկանա, իրավաբանորեն ոչինչ չի կարող անել»,- նշեց Լիռա Քոչարյանը:
  Ըստ պրոդյուսերի տեղեկությունների՝ Ադրբեջանի հիստերիան դեռեւս չի հասել «Նոր ալիք».
«Ես օրերս կապ հաստատեցի «Նոր ալիքի» տնօրինություն, սակայն նրանք նշեցին, որ ադրբեջանցիներից եւ ոչ մի հայտ Էռնայի մասնակցության հետ կապված չի եղել: Այսինքն՝ ի տարբերություն Ադրբեջանի հայտարարություններին, իրականում ոչ մի դիմում չի եղել «Նոր ալիքին»:  Այդ իսկ պատճառով, հիմա դեռես լռում եմ  ու սպասում եմ իրադարձությունների զարգացմանը: Միաժամանակ, այս մասին տեղյակ եմ պահել նաեւ Արցախի ղեկավարությանը, ինչպես նաեւ Հանրային հեռուստաընկերությանը, որը մեծ հավանականությամբ կզբաղվի այս տարվա «Նոր ալիքի» ցուցադրությամբ: Պետք է հասկանալ, որ սա ոչ միայն իմ եւ Էռնայի խնդիրն է, այլեւ ողջ երկրի, քանի որ նրանց կողմից հերթական անարդարությունն է իրականացվում: Մենք պետք է պայքարենք ու կարծում եմ, սա պետք է նաեւ առաջնային խնդիր լինի Մոսկվայում ՀՀ դեսպանի համար: Եթե մեր թշնամի պետությունը չի գիտակցում, որ երաժշտական մրցույթը չպետք է քաղաքականացվի, ապա մենք էլ պետք է ճիշտ քայլեր ձեռնարկենք»,- հավելեց Լիրա Քոչարյանը:
