Ապրիլի լույս 20-ի գիշերը մեծ աստղակերպ է մոտենալու Երկրին

Երկրին է մոտենում JO25 աստղակերպը՝ շուրջ կես կիլոմետր լայնությամբ: Ապրիլի լույս 20-ի գիշերն այն երկրին կմոտենա 1,8 միլիոն կիլոմետր հեռավորությամբ (Երկրից մինչև Լուսին մոտավորապես հինգ հեռավորություն), տեղեկացնում է BBC-ին:
Դա նման տիեզերական մարմնի մոտենալու առավելագույն փոքր հեռավորությունն է վերջին 400 տարվա ընթացքում, ճշտել են Միացյալ Նահանգների NASA տիեզերական գործակալությունում, թեև ավելի մանր տիեզերական մարմիններ կանոնավոր կերպով թռչում են Երկրի մոտով նաև ավելի փոքր հեռավորությամբ:
JO25 աստղակերպն իրական սպառնալիք չի ներկայացնում մոլորակի համար, թեև այն տիեզերական օբյեկտների ցանկում է, որոնք պոտենցիալ կերպով վտանգավոր են Երկրի վրա կյանքի համար:
Աստղակերպը կթռչի ռեկորդային բարձր արագությամբ՝ վայրկյանում շուրջ 33 կիլոմետր, դա ժամում շուրջ 120 հազար կիլոմետր է:
Երկրին մոտենալու պահին աստղակերպը, դրա փայլուն մակերևույթի շնորհիվ, կարելի է դիտել նույնիսկ ոչ մեծ աստղադիտակներով:
