«Հայաստանի մանուկներ» հիմնադրամը մտադիր է ՍՄԱՐԹ ապահով սենյակներ հիմնել սահմանամերձ համայնքներում: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում «Հայաստանի մանուկներ» հիմնադրամի ծրագրերի տնօրեն Էսթեր Հակոբյանն ասաց, որ այդ հարցով հետաքրքրված են տարբեր դոնորներ: «Սեպտեմբերին մենք ՍՄԱՐԹ ապահով սենյակներ ենք բացել Տավուշի մարզի Կոթի եւ Այգեհովիտ համայնքներում: Դրանք խաղաղ ժամանակ գյուղի երեխաների համար ծառայում են որպես կրթական կենտրոններ, իսկ պատերազմական կամ վտանգավոր իրավիճակներում մարդկանց պատսպարելու նպատակ ունեն»,-ասաց Էսթեր Հակոբյանը` հավելելով, որ էներգիայի լրացուցիչ աղբյուրներով, լույսի, ջրի պաշարներով սենյակներում կարող է տեղավորվել մինչեւ 150 մարդ:
Խոսելով Լոռու մարզում նոր եւ աշխարհում եզակի Սմարթ կենտրոնի կառուցման աշխատանքներից, որտեղ ներդրում ունի նաեւ օսկարակիր դերասան Լեոնարդո Դի Կապրիոն, COAF-ի ծրագրերի տնօրենը նշեց, որ աշխատանքներն ընթացքի մեջ են: «Նախատեսվածի պես՝ շենքը պատրաստ կլինի արդեն նոյեմբեր ամսին, իսկ կենտրոնի պաշտոնական բացումը ծրագրվում է 2018 թվականին մայիսին»,-ասաց նա:
2016 թ. ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմից հետո Հայաստանի սահմանամերձ գոտիներում ու Արցախում Սմարթ սենյակներ բացելու նախաձեռնության մասին, Արցախի կառավարության ղեկավարի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ հայտարարել էր հիմնադրամիատենապետ Գարո Արմենը: ՍՄԱՐԹ ապահով սենյակներ հիմնելու հարցով հիմնադրամն այժմ համագործակցության ծրագրեր է մշակում տարբեր տեղական ու միջազգային կազմակերպությունների հետ։
