 Տնտեսագետ Վարդան Բոստանջյանը չի բացառել 2016 թվականին էլեկտրաէներգիայի սակագնի իջեցման հնարավորությունը` ներկայացնելով է իր հիմնավորումը: «Մենք պետք է մշտապես գիտակցենք, որ էլեկտրաէներգիայի սակագնի գոյացումը կախված է համակարգում իրականացվող ծախսերի չափերից: Ներկայիս սեփականատ երը շահագրգռված է բարձրացնել ՀԷՑ-ի կառավարման արդյունավետությունը, որի համար խոստացել է կատարել պատշաճ չափի ներդրումներ: Բացի այդ` նոր սեփականատերը անպայման քայլեր է ձեռնարկելու` իր ձեռնարկության ծախսերը կայունացնելու ուղղությամբ, որից հետո մենք կարող ենք ակնկալել նաև էլեկտրաէներգիայի սակագնի իջեցում»,-  լրագրողների հետ հոկտեմբերի 5-ին կայացած հանդիպմանն այսպիսի կարծիք հայտնեց նա` հավելելով, որ իր հաշվարկների համաձայն` ՀԷՑ-ի համակարգերի արդիականացման համար անհրաժեշտ է մոտ 500 միլիոն ԱՄՆ դոլարի ներդրում:

 «Տաշիր գրուպ» ընկերությունների խումբը սեպտեմբերի 30-ին հայտարարեց, որ ձեռքբերել Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում «Ինտեր ՌԱՕ» ընկերությանէլեկտրաէներգետիկ ակտիվները: 

«Հայաստանի բնակչությանն օժանադակելու նպատակով որոշում է ընդունվել սեփական միջոցներից` ՀՀ կառավարության հետ հավասարության սկզբունքով գալիք մեկտարվա ընթացքում` մինչև 2016 թվականի օգոստոսի 1-ը. փոխհատուցել 2015թ-ի օգոստոսի 1-ից տեղի ունեցած սակագնի բարձրացման տարբերությունը բնակչությանև փոքր բիզնեսի համար»,- նշել է Սամվել Կարապետյանը:
