ՀՀ ՊՆ Ազգային ռազմավարական հետազոտությունների ինստիտուտի նորակառույց մասնաշենքում հոկտեմբերի 4-ին տեղի է ունեցել «Խաղաղապահական գործողություններին մարտահրավերների միջազգային ֆորումի» գործընկեր պետությունների կոմիտեի նիստը: Ինչպես  տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ՊՆ Ազգային ռազմավարական հետազոտությո ւնների ինստիտուտից, կոմիտեի նիստը նախորդել է հոկտեմբերի 5-ին Երևանում մեկնարկելիք «Խաղաղապահական գործողություններին մարտահրավերների միջազգային ֆորումի» տարեկան համաժողովին: Կոմիտեում պետությունները ներկայացված են մեկ կամ մի քանի գերատեսչություններով, ինչպես նաև ոչ պետական կազմակերպություններով: Հայաստանի Հանրապետությանը ներկայացնում է ՀՀ ՊՆ Ազգային ռազմավարական հետազոտությունների ինստիտուտը:

Երևանում կայացած Կոմիտեի նիստին մասնակցել են ներկայացուցիչներ ԱՄՆ-ից, Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունից, Մեծ Բրիտանիայից, Ֆրանսիայից, Կանադայից, Գերմանիայից, Շվեդիայից, Շվեյցարիայից, Նորվեգիայից, Ճապոնիայից, Հնդկաստանից, Ինդոնեզիայից, Հորդանանից, Եգիպտոսից, Ավստրալիայից:

Նիստի սկզբում Կոմիտեի անդամները շնորհակալություն են հայտնել ՀՀ ՊՆ Ազգային ռազմավարական հետազոտությունների ինստիտուտին, և մասնավորապես, ինստիտուտի պետ, ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի խորհրդական, քաղաքական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պրոֆեսոր, գեներալ-մայոր Հայկ Քոթանջյանին Ֆորումի տարեկան համաժողովը և Կոմիտեի նիստը Հայաստանում բարձր մակարդակով անցկացնելու համար:

Գեներալ-մայոր Հայկ Քոթանջյանը ներկայացրել է Ազգային ռազմավարական հետազոտությունների ինստիտուտի գործունեության հիմնական ուղղությունները, Ինստիտուտի կերպափոխմամբ ՀՀ ՊՆ Պաշտպանական ազգային հետազոտական համալսարանի ստեղծման գործընթացը, ինչպես նաև խաղաղապահական գործողությունների բնագավառում ՀՀ հիմնական ձեռքբերումները:

Կոմիտեն քննարկել է միջազգային խաղաղապահության ոլորտի հիմնախնդիրները, դրանց լուծման ուղիները, «Խաղաղապահական գործողություններին մարտահրավերների միջազգային ֆորումի» անցած տարվա գործունեության արդյունքները: Նախանշվել են նաև առաջիկա տարվա համար ֆորումի աշխատանքի հիմնական ուղղությունները:

Ֆորումին անդամակցում են քսաներկու պետություններ, այդ թվում ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի մշտական հինգ անդամները: Կոմիտեն միջպետական համագործակցության մարմին է, ՄԱԿ-ի խաղաղապահության գործող ռազմավարության մշակման համադասողը: Այն ֆորումի ղեկավար մարմինն է, որոշում է ֆորումի գործունեության հիմնական ուղղությունները: Կոմիտեի աշխատանքների համակարգումն իրականացնում է միջազգային քարտուղարությունը, որի կենտրոնակայանը գտնվում է Շվեդիայում:
