Վաղը ապրիլի 24-ն է՝ Օսմանյան Թուրքիայում հայերի ցեղասպանության 102-րդ տարելիցը: Ինչպես ամեն տարի, այս տարի ևս Հայաստանում և աշխարհում միլիոնավոր հայեր, նաև բազմաթիվ այլազգիներ կհարգեն Ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը:

Հայաստանում հիշատակի արարողությունները կմեկնարկեն այսօր՝ ապրիլի 23-ի երեկոյան: Արդեն ավանդույթ դարձած ջահերով երթը իրականացվեց, որի ընթացքում էլ, ավանդույթի համաձայն, այրվեց Թուրքիայի դրոշը: Թե ինչ է խորհրդանշում Թուրքիայի դրոշն այրելը՝ այնքան էլ պարզ չէ: Դրոշներ այսօր այրում են հետադեմ հասարակությունները, սակայն բանը միայն հետադիմությունը չէ: Դրոշներ այրում են այն հասարակությունները, որոնք անզոր են, հուսահատ, անօգնական, որոնք իրենց զգում են խաբված և անկենսունակ, որոնք այլ բան այլևս չունեն անելու, ու մնում է դրոշն այրել: Օրինակ՝ երբ Ռամիլ Սաֆարովին արտահանձնեցին Ադրբեջան, Հայաստանում այրեցին Հունգարիայի դրոշը, որովհետև այլևս անելու այլ բան չունեին ու մինչև հիմա էլ չունեն. մինչև հիմա հայկական պատասխանը նետված լոլիկներից ու այրված դրոշներից այն կողմ չի անցել: Իսկ այդ լոլիկներն ու դրոշները միայն հայկական հուսահատության և անօգնականության մասին են վկայել:

Նույն կերպ նաև այրված թուրքական դրոշները: Երբ անկախ Հայաստանի երիտասարդությունը ապրիլի 24-ին Թուրքիայի դրոշ է այրում, դա ոչ միայն ինչ-որ արմատականության հիվանդագին դրսևորում է հիշեցնում, այլև թողնում է այդ երիտասարդության հուսահատության տպավորություն: Աշխարհին և Թուրքիային ինչ-որ բան ցույց տալու, ինչ-որ բանում համոզելու կամ պարտադրելու համար պետք է ոչ թե դրոշներ այրել, այլ կառուցել հզոր և առաջադեմ պետություն ու հասարակություն, որը աշխարհին կներկայանա իր արժեքներով, իր ստեղծագործական պոտենցիալով, որը 21-րդ դարում ինչ-որ բան կստեղծի, ինչ-որ բան կգեներացնի, որին կճանաչեն դրանով: Այդ ստեղծագործական պոտենցիալն է, որ պետք է աշխարհում լսելի դարձնի հայի ձայնը, ընդ որում՝ ոչ միայն ապրիլի 24-ին, այլև միշտ:

Խնդիրը ամենևին Թուրքիայի հանդեպ հարգանքը չէ: Այստեղ նախ և առաջ սեփական անձի, սեփական ազգի, ժողովրդի, պետության հանդեպ հարգանքի խնդիրն է, որովհետև դրոշներ կամ խրտվիլակներ այրելն այսօր մնացել է այն պետությունների և հասարակությունների «մենաշնորհը», որոնց համար դեռևս անհասանելի է ներքին այրման շարժիչի գաղափարը:

Հայաստանը ունի մեկ ճանապարհ՝ Թուրքիային որևէ բան պարտադրել իր պետական կշռով, բայց դրանից առաջ նախ պետք է Հայաստանն ինքն իրեն կարողանա պարտադրել այլ որակի պետական կարգ, այլ որակի հասարակական համակեցություն, այլ որակի արժեհամակարգ և աշխարհընկալում, քան այն, ինչ կա այսօր: Այսօր եղածի առումով, իսկապես, դրոշ այրելուց բացի՝ այլ բան չի մնում անել, բայց եթե այդպես շարունակվի, ապա վաղն արդեն դրոշի և կրակի հնարավորություն իսկ չենք ունենալու:

Հետևաբար ելքը մեկն է՝ վերանայել տոտեմական պայքարի մտածողությունը և անցնել իմաստավորված, կոնցեպտուալ պայքարի՝ սկսած պայքարը՝ որակապես այլ պետության համար, մինչև պայքարը՝ պետական ու ազգային շահերից ու արժանապատվությունից բխող խնդիրների համար, որոնց թվում, բնականաբար, առաջիններից մեկը Ցեղասպանության դատապարտումն ու միջազգային ճանաչումն է՝ դրանից բխող հետագա քայլերով:
