Թուրքիայի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանությանն առերեսվելուց հրաժարվելու պատճառով այդ երկրում դեռևս շարունակվում են հայերի ու մյուս փոքրամասնությունների նկատմամբ ատելության հանցագործությունները և խտրական վերաբերմունքը: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց Ստամբուլի հայկական «Ակոս» պարբերականի գլխավոր խմբագիր Եդվարդ Դանզիկյանը:
«Թուրքիան արդեն պետք է առերեսվի տեղի հայերի դեմ 1915-ին և դրան հաջորդած ժամանակաշրջանում իրականացրածի հետ: Քանի դեռ այդ առերեսումը չկա, ցեղասպանությունն ինչ-որ առումով շարունակվող պետք է համարել: Այդ առերեսման բացակայությունն է, որ դեռևս շարունակվում են հայերի ու մյուս փոքրամասնությունների դեմ ուղղված ատելության հանցագործությունները, խտրական վերաբերմունքը»,- նշեց Դանզիկյանը:
Խմբագիրը հիշեցրեց 2017 թվականի հունվարին մեջլիսում Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին Գարո Փայլանի ելույթից հետո նրա դեմ կիրառված պատժամիջոցների մասին: «Նախորդ ամիսներին մեջլիսում հայ պատգամավոր Գարո Փայլանի ելույթից հետո նրա գլխին եկածներն այդ չառերեսվելու քաղաքականության հետևանքներից են: Փայլանն այս հողերում իրականացված ցեղասպանության մասին խոսելու պատճառով պատժվեց՝ հեռացվելով երեք նիստից, նրա խոսքերը դուրս բերվեցին արձանագրությունից: Սա խորհրդանշում է խնդրի վերաբերյա լ Թուրքիայի վերաբերմունքը 102 տարի հետո, կարծում են, թե արձանագրությունից հանելով կթվա, թե ցեղասպանություն չի եղել: Թուրքիան արդեն պետք է հրաժարվի ինքն իրեն և ժողովրդին խաբելուց»,- ընդգծեց նա:
Անդրադառնալով Հայաստանի և Թուրքիայի միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորման հարցին «Ակոս» պարբերականի գլխավոր խմբագիրը քննադատեց հարցը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության հետ կապելու թուրքական կողմից դիրքորոշումը: «Պետք է առանց նախապայմանների երկխոսություն սկսվի, երկու երկրի միջև հարաբերությունները չպետք է զոհաբերվեն Ադրբեջանի քաղաքական նախընտրություններին: Ցավալի է, որ Թուրքիան հարաբերությունները կապում է ղարաբաղյան հարցի հետ, Թուրքիայի և Հայաստանի միջև հարաբերությունները պետք է դիտարկվեն այս հարցից անկախ: Անպայման պետք է երկխոսություն սկսել, սահմանները պետք է բացվեն»,- կարծիք հայտնեց Դանզիկյանը:
