Թուրքիայի մեջլիսի հայ պատգամավոր, քրդամետ Ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատական կուսակցության անդամ Գարո Փայլանն ուղերձ է հղել Հայոց ցեղասպանության 102-րդ տարելիցի առնչությամբ: «Արմենպրես»-ը ներկայացնում է ուղերձն ամբողջությամբ:
«Մեծ եղեռնից 102 տարի է անցել, սակայն այս հողերի վրա իրականացված մեծ մարդկային հանցագործության` Հայոց ցեղասպանության հետ առերեսում դեռ չի եղել:
Ցեղասպանության, անցյալի և իրականության հետ առերեսումը միայն կնպաստի մեր երկրում հասարակական խաղաղության ապահովմանը: Չմոռանանք, որ անպատիժ մնացող ցանկացած հանցանք դրա կրկնության պատճառ կդառնա: Եվ շարունակում է դառնալ...

Օսմանյան կառավարության կողմից իրականացված Հայոց ցեղասպանության փաստը հիմնավորվել է, ճանաչվել ու հաստատվելականատեսների վկայություններով, օրեքներով, բանաձեւերով եւ բազմաթիվ նահանգների ու միջազգային կազմակերպություններիորոշումներով: 1915թ. Օսմանյան կայսրությունում հայ բնակչության մասսայական կոտորածները որպես նախապեսծրագրավորված ու ամբողջությամբ իրագործված ցեղասպանական ակտ որակող փաստաթղթերի ամբողջական շարքը հսկայականէ: Հայոց ցեղասպանությունն ընդունել են այնպիսի կազմակերպություններ, ինչպիսիք են Եվրոպայի Խորհուրդը, Եվրախորհրդարանը, ՄԱԿ-ի մի քանի հանձնաժողովներ, Եկեղեցիների համաշխարհային միությունը, Հարավային Ամերիկայիխոշորագույն կազմակերպություններից մեկի` ՄԵՐԿՈՍՈւՐ-ի խորհրդարանը եւ այլն: Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչել են շատպետություններ. առաջինը պաշտոնապես ընդունել է Ուրուգվայը 1965 թ.: Հայ ժողովրդի կոտորածը պաշտոնապես դատապարտել եւճանաչել են որպես ցեղասպանություն< i>` ըստ միջազգային իրավունքի, հետեւյալ երկրները` Ֆրանսիա, Իտալիա, Բելգիա, Նիդեռլանդներ, Շվեյցարիա, Շվեդիա, Ռուսաստան, Լեհաստան, Լիտվա, Հունաստան, Սլովակիա, Կիպրոս, Լիբանան, Ուրուգվայ, Պարագվայ, Արգենտինա (2 օրենք, 5 բանաձեւ), Վենեսուելա, Չիլի, Բոլիվիա, Կանադա, Վատիկան, Ավստրիա, Լյուքսեմբուրգ, Գերմանիա, Ավստ րալիայի Նոր Հարավային Ուելս նահանգը, ԱՄՆ 45 նահանգներ:
