Հայաստանի եզդիական համայնքը դատապարտում է Թուրքիայի կառավարության ժխտողական քաղաքականությունը: Ծիծեռնակաբերդում «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում Հայաստանի եզդիների միության նախագահ Ազիզ Թամոյանն ընդգծեց, որ 20-րդ դարի սկզբին Թուրքիան պետական մակարդակով ցեղասպանություն է իրականացրել ազգային փոքրամասնությունների` հայերի, ասորիների, եզդիների, հույների նկատմամ բ և մինչ օրս ժխտում է այդ փաստը: «Նրանք պնդում են, թե իրենք ցեղասպանություն չեն իրականացրել, բայց իրականությունն այլ է: Ես կոչ եմ անում միջազգային հանրությանը, ՄԱԿ-ին, Եվրոպական Միությանը ավելի լուրջ զբաղվել այս հարցով: Նրանք խոսում են մարդու իրավունքների մասին և պետք է առաջին հերթին կարողանան այս հարցը կարգավորել: Դա իրենց գործն է, սակայն այսoր այդ կառույցների ամեն նախաձեռնություն միայն թղթի վրա է մնում»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` ասաց Թամոյանը:

Նա հիշեցրեց 2014թ. օգոստոսին Իրաքի հյուսիսային հատվածում եզդի ժողովրդի կոտորածը «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման կողմից` նշելով, որ դա տեղի չէր ունենա, եթե ողջ աշխարհը ճանաչած և դատապարտած լիներ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: «Այն, ինչ այսօր կատարվում է եզդիների նկատմամբ, ապագայում կարող է կատարվել նաև մյուս ազգերի նկատմամբ: Պետք է արմատախիլ անել այդ ահաբեկչական խմբավորումներին, նրանց աշխարհի երեսից վերացնել է պետք: Դրանք չարիք են մարդկության համար: Մարդկության համար չարիք է նաև Թուրքիան, որովհետև այս ամենի հիմնական պաճառը հենց այդ երկիրն է: Եթե Թուրքիան ժամանակին ընդուներ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, ես կարծում եմ, որ նման երևույթներ չէին կատարվի»,- նշեց նա:

Թամոյանի խոսքով` Թուրքիան ոչ միայն չի ճանաչում Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, այլ շարունակում է իր կեղտոտ քաղաքականությունը:  

Օսմանյան կառավարության կողմից իրականացված Հայոց ցեղասպանության փաստը հիմնավորվել է, ճանաչվել ու հաստատվել ականատեսների վկայություններով, օրենքներով, բանաձեւերով եւ բազմաթիվ նահանգների ու միջազգային կազմակերպությունների որոշումներով: 1915թ. Օսմանյան կայսրությունում հայ բնակչության մասսայական կոտորածները որպես նախապես ծրագրավորված ու ամբողջությամբ իրագործված ցեղասպանական ակտ որակող փաստաթղթերի ամբողջական շարքը հսկայական է: Հայոց ցեղասպանությունն ընդունել են այնպիսի կազմակերպություններ, ինչպիսիք են Եվրոպայի Խորհուրդը, Եվրխորհրդարանը, ՄԱԿ-ի մի քանի հանձնաժողովներ, Եկեղեցիների համաշխարհային միությունը, Հարավային Ամերիկայի խոշորագույն կազմակերպություններից մեկի` ՄԵՐԿՈՍՈւՐ-ի խորհրդարանը եւ այլն: Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչել են շատ պետություններ. առաջինը պաշտոնապես ընդունել է Ուրուգվայը 1965 թ.: Հայ ժողովրդի կոտորածը պաշտոնապես դատապարտել եւ ճանաչել են որպես ցեղասպանություն` ըստ միջազգային իրավունքի, հետեւյալ երկրները` Ֆրանսիա, Իտալիա, Բելգիա, Նիդեռլանդներ, Շվեյցարիա, Շվեդիա, Ռուսաստան, Լեհաստան, Լիտվա, Հունաստան, Սլովակիա, Կիպրոս, Լիբանան, Ուրուգվայ, Պ արագվայ, Արգենտինա (2 օրենք, 5 բանաձեւ), Վենեսուելա, Չիլի, Բոլիվիա, Կանադա, Վատիկան, Ավստրիա, Լյուքսեմբուրգ, Գերմանիա, Ավստրալիայի Նոր Հարավային Ուելս նահանգը, ԱՄՆ 45 նահանգներ:
