1915թ-ին տեղի ունեցած Հայոց ցեղասպանությունից դարից ավելի է անցել, սակայն մենք գնալով միայն ավելի ենք մոտենում այդ մեծ ողբերգությանը: Մենք շարունակում ենք պայքարել, որպեսզի այն, որպես փաստ, ընդունի ողջ աշխարհը: 
 
Երգահան, դրամատուրգ Քրիստ Մանարյանը, Life.panorama.am-ի հետ թեմայի շուրջ զրուցելիս, նշեց.
 
«Մեր պահանջատիրությունն ու մարտական տրամադրվածությունը, հավատացնում եմ` երբեք չեն էլ պակասելու, այլ գնալով ավելի թափ են ստանալու: Թուրքական երկու պետություններն էլ հորինված երկրներ են, երկուսն էլ բռնապետներ են այսօր ղեկավարում, հրաշք չի լինելու, լինելու է երկարատև, ծանր պայքար: Ինձ համար ով էդ պայքարից հետ կանգնեց կամ անգամ պասիվ եղավ` միանշանակ դավաճան է: Ես զգում եմ ազգային գաղափարախոսության չտեսնված վերելք, դա չզգալ չի լինի, դրան պիտի տեր կանգնենք: Լացկան երգերն ու տրամադրությունները պետք է մեկընդմիշտ մոռանալ, մենք պիտի ստիպենք մեզ հաշտվել այն մտքի հետ, որ եթե կորցրածն այս կամ այն կերպ հետ չբերեցինք` ոչ միայն հարգանքի, այլեւ ապրելու արժանի չենք երկրագնդում: Պետք է գործել հետեւողականորեն, համառորեն, հնարավորինս սառը դատելով, թեեւ տաքարյուն ազգ ենք, եւ օգտագործելով բոլոր հնարավորությունները, որոնց մեջ անձամբ ես ոչ մի խտրականություն չեմ դնում, մեր երկրի նախկին սահմանները վերադարձնելու պայքարում բոլոր ձեւերն ընդունելի են, առանց բացառության»:
 
Մեր զրուցակցի խոսքով՝ մորական արմատները հենց Արեւմտյան Հայաստանից են, ավելին՝ տատին հենց թուրքերն են փրկել.
«Մորական տատիս Ցեղասպանության ժամանակ փրկել են թուրքերը: Ուրեմն մարդկային ինչ-որ բան եղել է նրանց հոգում: Դե ուրեմն թող նրանց սերունդները ձայն բարձրացնեն ու ստիպեն սեփական կառավարությանը Հայոց Ցեղասպանությունն ընդունել պաշտոնապես: Բայց իրականում նման միամիտ բաների վրա հույս չեմ դնում, ինչ-որ անելու ենք` ինքներս պիտի անենք, աշխարհի հայերով: Կռիվը չի վերջացել, ողորմելի բռնապետերն ուզում են իրականացնել իրենց վաղեմի զառանցանքը` ստեղծել մեծ թուրան: Մենք նրանց ճանապարհին ենք, երկուսիս շահերը տրամագծորեն հակառակ են: Բայց մենք վաղուց արդեն այն հայերը չենք, որոնց տղամարդկանց կարելի էր հավաքել ու զինաթափել, այդ մղձավանջն այլևս երբեք չի կրկնվի, մենք պիտի նորից մեր Մեծ Երկրի տերը դառնանք ու անպայման ելք ունենանք դեպի ծով: Եթե սա իմ հայրենակիցներից որեւէ մեկին ուտոպիա կթվա` թող խաչակնքի. որքան գիտեմ, քրիստոնյաները նման պարագայում խաչակնքում են...»,- շեշտեց Քրիստ Մանարյանը:
 
«Պահանջում եմ, որ թուրք, թուրքական, թուրքիա բառերը գրվեն միշտ փոքրատառով. ես քաղաքական գործիչ չեմ ու դա պահանջելու իրավունք ունեմ»,- ավարտեց դրամատուրգը:
