Փարիզի քաղաքապետարանն ապրիլի 24-ին հյուրընկալել է տեղի հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչներին` հիշատակելու Հայոց ցեղասպանության 102-րդ տարելիցը: Վկայակոչելով Nouvelles d’Armenie-ն, միջոցառմանը ներկա են գտնվել Փարիզի քաղաքապետ Անն Իդալգոն, Ֆրանսիայի օրենսդիր մարմնի ներկայացուցիչներ, Ֆրանսիայում Հայաստանի դեսպան Վիգեն Չիտեչյանը, Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու Ֆրանսիայի թեմի առաջնորդ Վահան արքեպիսկոպոս Հովհաննիսյանը, հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչներ, հյուրեր:

«Այս ցեղասպանության պատմությունը նաև իմ պատմությունն է, քանի որ դա մարդկության պատմությունն է»,- նշել է Անն Իդալգոն: Փարիզի քաղաքապետը նաև շնորհակալություն է հայտնել հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչներին մարդասիրության արժեքներին հավատարիմ մնալու, իրենց արմատները չմոռանալու համար` միաժամանակ ինտեգրվելով ու ապացուցելով, որ կյանքը միշտ ավելի ուժեղ է:

Իդալգոն վերահաստատել է, որ պայքարն, այնուամենայնիվ, չի ավարտվել: «Եթե պատմությունը չտանենք ճշմարտությամբ, ապա այն կարող ենք կրկնել: Եթե հերքում ենք պատմությունը, այն կարող է ինքն իրեն կրկնել»,- նշել է Փարիզի քաղաքապետը: Իդալգոն ընդգծել է նաև, որ, հիշելով պատմությունը, պետք է կենտրոնանալ նաև ներկայի վրա, ինչի լավագույն դրսևորումներից են Ֆրանսիայի ու Հայաստանի մայրաքաղաքների միջև ամուր կապերը: Նա վերահաստատել է իր հանձնառությունը Փարիզում հայկական կենտրոնի կառուցմանն աջակցելու հարցում: Իդալգոյի խոսքով` այն փաստը, որ այս օրն աշխարհ ում բազում մարդիկ հիշատակում են Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, վկայում է այն մասին, որ հայերին ոչնչացնելու ձգտումը հաջողության չի հասել:

Միջոցառմանը ելույթներով հանդես ե եկել նաև Ֆրանսիայում ՀՀ դեսպան Վիգեն Չիտեչյանը, Ֆրանսիայի հայկական կազմակերպությունների համակարգող խորհրդի համանախագահներ Մուրադ Փափազյանը և Արա Թորանյանը:
