ԱՄՆ-ում թուրքերը ներողություն են խնդրել Հայոց ցեղասպանության համար

 ԱՄՆ Մասաչուսեթս նահանգի Վուսթեր քաղաքում Հայոց ցեղասպանության 102-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված միջոցառումներին մասնակցել է նաև 2 թուրք, մեկը՝ մահմեդական, մյուսը՝ քրիստոնյա:  Մասնագիտությամբ լրագրող և Հոլոքոստի ու ցեղասպանությունների ուսումնասիրությամբ զբաղվող Բուրչին Գերչեքն իր պարտքն է համարել անցյալին առերեսվելը:Այդ մասին գրել է telegram.com-ը:

«Իհարկե, սպանված մարդկանց համար այլևս չի կարող արդարություն լինել: Այժմ չափազանց ուշ է դրա համար: Այնուամենայնիվ, գոնե ճանաչումը, պաշտոնապես հնչեցված ներողությունն ու հայկական մշակութային ժառանգության պահպանմանն ուղղված որոշակի քայլերը կարող են Թուրքիայում դրական փոփոխությունների բերել»,- նշել է Գերչեքը 1.5 մլն հայերի հիշատակի ոգեկոչման արարողության ելույթում: Նրա խոսքով՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության թեման արգելված էր քննարկման համար: Նա այդ մասին իմացել է միայն Ֆրանսիայում աշխատելու և պատմություն ուսումնասիրելու ժամանակ:

«Ես շոկի մատնվեցի, երբ իմացա տարիներ շարունակ կառավարության, լրատվամիջոցների ու դպրոցների կողմից մեզ հրամցվող մեծ ստի մասին»,-նշել է նա: Գերչեքի կինը վերջերս գիրք է գրել՝ ներկայացնելով ավելի քան 200 մարդու պատմություն, որտեղ նրանք փորձել են Ցեղասպանության ժամանակ փրկել հայերին: 
Աղբյուրը նկատել է, որ հայերի համար առանձնահատուկ նշանակություն ունեցող միջոցառմանը թուրքերի ներկայությունը նշանակալի է եղել:
Մյուս թուրքը՝ քրիստոնյա Էմրե Քան Դաղլիօղլուն, որը ևս զբաղվում է Հոլոքոստի ու ցեղասպանությունների ուսումնասիրությամբ, նշ ել է, որ իրենք պարտավոր են ներողություն խնդրել ոչ միայն Օսմանյան կայսրությունում կատարվածի, այլև 19-րդ դարի վերջին հայերի դեմ ուղղված գործողությունների համար: Դաղլիօղլուի խոսքով` որպես Թուրքիայի քաղաքացի՝ ինքն այդ ժխտման մի մասն է ու, ի տարբերություն սպանված ու արտաքսված հայերի և հույների, շարունակում է ապրել Թուրքիայում: «Կարծում եմ, որ ես պետք է ներողություն խնդրեմ»,-ասել է նա:
