Չինաստանի ղեկավարությունը Կորեական թերակղզու շուրջ լարվածության աճի պատճառով լրացուցիչ 100-հազարանոց զորախումբ Է ծավալել ԿԺԴՀ-ի հետ սահմանում: Միաժամանակ բարձրացվել Է ՉԺՀ-ի զինված ուժերի պատրաստության մակարդակը: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է Yomiuri ճապոնական թերթը՝ հղում անելով Չինաստանի աղբյուրների, այդ թվում՝ զինվորական: 
Նախազգուշության այս ուժեղացված միջոցները, ըստ այդ տվյալների, ձեռնարկվել են ապրիլի կեսից:
Ինչպես արդեն տեղեկացվել Է, Կորեայի Հանրապետության եւ ԱՄՆ-ի ռազմածովային ուժերը համատեղ զորավարժություններ են սկսել Դեղին ծովում: Կորեայի Հանրապետության կողմից դրանց մասնակցում Է «Վան Գոն» Էսկադրային ականակիրը՝ 4,4 հազար տոննա ջրատարողությամբ, իսկ ամերիկյան կողմից՝ Wayne E. Meyer Էսկադրային ականակիրը` 9,2 հազար տոննա ջրատարողությամբ, որը հանդերձված Է Aegis մարտական կառավարման տեղեկատվական համակարգով: Դրանք կանցկացնեն մարտավարական զինավարժանքներ եւ հրաձգություններ, հայտնել Է Հարավային Կորեայի ռազմածովային ուժերի ներկայացուցիչը:     
Ընթացիկ շաբաթվա վերջին ամերիկյան Carl Vilson ավիակիրը համատեղ զինավարժանքներ կանցկացնի հարավկորեական նավերի հետ: Նաեւ նշվում Է, որ ապրիլի 25-ին Կորեայի Հանրապետության հարավի Պուսան նավահանգիստ կմտնի աշխարհում խոշորագույն Michigan ատոմային սուզանավը: 
ԱՄՆ-ի վարչակազմը բավականին արտասովոր քայլ Է ձեռնարկել՝ Միացյալ Նահանգների Սենատին հրավիրելով ամբողջ կազմով այցելել Սպիտակ տուն՝ Հյուսիսային Կորեայի միջուկային ծրագրի հարցի շուրջը բրիֆինգ անցկացնելու համար: Դրանից ոչ շատ առաջ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը դիմել Է ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդին՝ կոչ անելով «վերջապես լուծել» ԿԺԴՀ-ի հիմնախնդիրը:   
Արտակարգ խորհրդակցությանը, որը կկայանա ապրիլի 26-ին Սպիտակ տանը, կմասնակցեն Սենատի բոլոր 100 անդամները, ինչպես նաեւ պետքարտուղար Ռեքս Թիլերսոնը եւ պաշտպանության նախարար Ջեյմս Մեթիսը: 
Վերջին շաբաթներին Վաշինգտոնը քանիցս աճող անհանգստություն Է հայտնել Փենյանի կողմից հրթիռային եւ միջուկային փորձարկումների անցկացման առիթով, որոնք սպառնալիք են ներկայացնում ինչպես հենց ԱՄՆ-ի, այնպես Էլ Ասիախաղաղօվկիանոսյան տարածաշրջանում նրա դաշնակիցների համար, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
