Հայոց ցեղասպանության 102-րդ տարելիցի կապակցությամբ Թեհրանում տեղի են ունեցել մի շարք միջոցառումներ։ Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից՝ հավելելով. «Ապրիլի 23-ին Իրանում ՀՀ դեսպան Արտաշես Թումանյանը, Թեհրանի Հայոց թեմի առաջնորդ Գերշ. Տ. Սեպուհ Ս. Արք. Սարգսյանը և դեսպանության անձնակազմը Թեհրա նի Սուրբ Սարգիս եկեղեցու տարածքում տեղադրված Հայոց ցեղասպանության հուշարձանի մոտ մասնակցեցին բարեխոսական աղոթքի և ծաղկեպսակի զետեղման արարողության՝ ի հիշատակ Հայոց ցեղասպանության մեկուկես միլիոն անմեղ զոհերի:

Ապրիլի 24-ին իրանահայերը Թեհրանի Հայոց թեմի առաջնորդի, ազգային մարմինների, միությունների և կազմակերպությունների ղեկավարության առաջնորդությամբ երթ կատարեցին դեպի Իրանում Թուրքիայի դեսպանություն, որի շենքի դիմաց հայությունն իր բողոքն արտահայտեց ընդդեմ Թուրքիայի ժխտողական քաղաքականության:

Այնուհետև, դեսպան Թումանյանը և դեսպանության անձնակազմը մասնակցեցին Թեհրանի Ս. Սարգիս եկեղեցում մատուցված Սուրբ պատարագի արարողությանն՝ ի հիշատակ Հայոց ցեղասպանության անմեղ զոհերի: Արարողությանը ներկա էին նաև իրանահայության ազգային ղեկավար մարմինների, միությունների, կազմակերպությունների, հայ կաթողիկե և ավետարանական եկեղեցիների ներկայացուցիչներ:

Նույն օրը դեսպան Թումանյանը և դեսպանության անձնակազմը Թեհրանի «Արարատ մարզամշակութային համալիրում» մասնակցեցին ոգեկոչման երեկոյի՝ ի հիշատակ Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակի:
Երեկոյի ընթացքում ելույթներով հանդես եկան դեսպան Թումանյանը, Թեհրանի Հայոց թեմի առաջնորդը և այլք»:
