«168 ժամ» թերթը գրում է.

«Երեւանը կիրթ է գործում, Ադրբեջանը հրաժարվում է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի առաջ քաշած օրակարգից՝ Վիեննայի եւ Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի պայմանավորվածությունների կատարում, իսկ Հայաստանը չի ընդունում բացառապես ադրբեջանական օրակարգը։ Հայկական կողմի մոտեցումն արդարացված է, քանի որ հայկական կողմը շարժվում է եռանախագահների օրակարգին համահունչ։ Այնուամենայնիվ, չնայած այս հանդիպման մասին տեղեկատվությանը, իրավիճակը փակուղային է, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, նախագահական գագաթաժողով չի լինի այս հանդիպումից հետո։

Եթե անցկացվի ծրագրված նախարարական հանդիպումը, նախարարները կխոսեն ինչ-ինչ հարցերի շուրջ եւ կբաժանվեն՝ առանց հետեւանքների, քանի որ լուրջ, հստակ պայմանավորվածությունների համար հիմքեր չկան»,- «168 ժամի» հետ զրույցում այս մասին է ասել վերլուծաբան Ստանիսլավ Տարասովը՝ անդրադառնալով ապրիլի 28-ին Մոսկվայում կայանալիք Նալբանդյան-Լավրով-Մամեդյարով հանդիպման հնարավոր արդյունքներին։

Նրա որակմամբ՝ նախարարները կոնյակ կխմեն, նարդի կխաղան, ինչ-որ բան կխոսեն, եղանակը կքննարկեն, բայց ոչ ավելին։

Հարավային Կովկասով զբաղվող Օքսֆորդի պրոֆեսոր Նեյլ Մաքֆարլեյնը եւս մեծ հույսեր չի կապում երկու օրից սպասվող նախարարական այս հանդիպման հետ, թեեւ, նրա խոսքով, հանդիպումը երկար ծրագրված եւ սպասված էր ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի բոլոր համանախագահների կողմից, ինչի ապացույցն էր Երեւանում Ռիչարդ Հոգլանդի մամուլի ասուլիսը, որի ընթացքում նա նշեց, թե այս հանդիպման ընթացքում կնախապատրաստվի բարձր մակարդակի հանդիպում»:
