Նյու Յորքում կայացել է խորհրդային հետախույզ Աբելի մասին Սփիլբերգի ֆիլմի պրեմիերան

Նյու Յորքի 53-րդ կինոփառատոնում կայացել է Սթիվեն Սփիլբերգի նոր ֆիլմի՝ «Լրտեսական կամուրջի» պրեմիերան: Ֆիլմը հանդիսատեսների կողմից ընդունվել է օվացիաներով, տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով ՏԱՍՍ-ին:
Կինոնկարի սյուժեն հիմնված է իրական իրադարձությունների վրա: Ֆիլմը պատմում է բրուքլինյան փաստաբան Ջեյմս Դոնովանի (Թոմ Հենքս) մասին, որին իշխանությունները հանձնարարում են ԽՍՀՄ-ի հետ պայմանավորվել ամերիկացի գերեվարված օդաչու Ֆրենսիս Փաուերի ազատման շուրջ: Բանակցությունների ընթացքում Դոնովանից պահանջվում էր հասնել այն բանին, որ ամերիկացի օդաչուն փոխանակվի խորհրդային հետախույզ Ռուդոլֆ Աբելի (Մարկ Ռեյլս) հետ:
«Սթիվեն Սփիլբերգի նոր թրիլերը հնարավորություն է տալիս Թոմ Հենքսին շատ ծանրակշիռ դեր հավելել իր ստեղծագործական պորտֆոլիոյին»,- գրում է Variety-ն: Հանդեսն այն կարծիքին է, որ դերասանական խաղը լրտեսական դրաման վերածում է «բոլորի համար ֆիլմի, որը դիտվում Է հափշտակությամբ»:
Խորհրդային հետախույզ Ռուդոլֆ Աբելը ԱՄՆ-ում աշխատել է 1948 թվականից: 1957 թվականին նրան ձերբակալել են, բայց երեք տարի անց փոխանակել են ԽՍՀՄ-ում բռնված U-2 հետախուզական ինքնաթիռի ամերիկացի օդաչու Հերի Փաուերսի եւ ամերիկացի տնտեսագետ ուսանող Ֆրեդերիկ Փրայորի հետ, որը ձերբակալվել էր լրտեսության կասկածանքով:
