Օսկարակիր ռեժիսոր Թերի Ջորջի՝ Հայոց Ցեղասպանության մասին պատմող «Խոստումը» ֆիլմը երեկվանից արդեն ցուցադրվում է Երեւանի կինոթատրոններում: Հանդիսատեսի ուշադրությունը գրավում է ոչ միայն ֆիլմում ներկայացված թեմայի կարեւորությունն ու համաշխարհային աստղերի ներգրավվածությունը նախագծում, այլեւ ցուցադրվող պատմությունը, որի հերոսները սիրային եռանկյունու մեջ են հայտնվում:
Ֆիլմում ֆիդայի Վանին մարմնավորած հոլիվուդյան դերասան Ռոման Միտիչյանը եւս տպավորված է սցենարային լուծումներով.
«Հայոց Ցեղասպանության մասին շատ ֆիլմեր կան, որոնք հզոր հաղորդագրություն են պարունակում, օրինակ՝ «Մայրիկը», «Սպին», «Արարատը», «1915»-ը եւ շատ ուրիշներ, բայց «Խոստումը» տարբերվում է իր բյուջեով: Թերի Ջորջը ոչնչի կարիք չուներ այն նկարահանելու համար, ամեն ինչ տեղում էր, եւ նա հրաշալի կատարեց իր առջեւ դրված աշխատանքը: Նա ներկայացրել էր նաեւ սիրո պատմություն՝ աշխարհին ցույց տալով, թե որքան հզոր է սիրո ուժը, եւ որ մարդն առաջ գնալու համար սիրո կարիք ունի»,-NEWS.am STYLE-ին տված բացառիկ հարցազրույցում նշեց դերասանը:
