Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին ապրիլի 28-ին իր հավատարմագրերն է հանձնել Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում Էկվադորի Հանրապետության նորանշանակ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Խուլիո Սեսար Պրադո Էսպինոսան (նստավայրը՝ Մոսկվա): Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության  տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից:


Հանրապետության Նախագահը շնորհավորել է դեսպանին Հայաստանում դիվանագիտական առաքելությունն սկսելու կապակցությամբ և մաղթել հաջողություններ: Սերժ Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանը շահագրգռված է լատինաամերիկյան երկրների, այդ թվում՝ Էկվադորի հետ խորացնելու հարաբերությունները և հույս է հայտնել, որ դեսպան Խուլիո Սեսար Պրադո Էսպինոսան իր փորձառությամբ ու ակտիվ աշխատանքով հայ-էկվադորյան հարաբերությունները կբարձրացնի որակական նոր մակարդակի: 

Նշելով, որ Լատինական Ամերիկայի երկրների հետ Հայաստանը գլխավորապես կապված է արժեմշ ակութային թելերով, որը հարյուր հազարավոր հայերի համար անցյալ դարասկզբին հիմք է հանդիսացել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունից փրկվելով՝ ապաստան գտնել այդ երկրներում, Հանրապետության Նախագահը կարևորել է բարեկամական կապերի ամրապնդումն ու միջպետական մակարդակով տարբեր ոլորտներում փոխգործակցության ակտիվացումը:

Դեսպան վստահեցրել է, որ իր պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում ջանք չի խնայի զարգացնելու Հայաստանի և Էկվադորի միջև հարաբերությունները և համագործակցությունը ինչպես երկկողմ, այնպես էլ բազմակողմ ձևաչափերով՝ միջազգային կազմակերպությունների շր ջանակներում: Հանդիպմանը դեսպանը նաև իր առաջարկներն է ներկայացրել Նախագահին՝ տարբեր ոլորտներում հայ-էկվադորյան փոխգործակցության ներուժը լավագույնս օգտագործելու ուղղությամբ:

Զրուցակիցները երկուստեք կարևորել են խորհրդարանական մակարդակով ևս երկու երկրների միջև շփումների ակտիվացումը:
