 ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարար Արմեն Մուրադյանի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ ԱՄՆ-ից ժամանած պլաստիկ վիրաբույժ, անվանի պրոֆեսոր Արթուր Սալիբյանը ներկայացրել է ուռուցքաբանական հիվանդությունների ժամանակ կրծքագեղձի վերականգնման և վիրահատության մեթոդի` Հայաստանում ներդրման մանրամասները: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարարությունից, Արթուր Սալիբյանը երկու տարի է, ինչ Հայաստանի տարբեր բժշկական կենտրոնների պլաստիկ վիրաբույժների հետ մեր երկրում առաջին անգամ կատարում է ԱՄՆ-ում լայնորեն տարածված վիրահատության այս տեսակը: «Երկու տարում մենք «Քանաքեռ Զեյթուն» և Հայ-ամերիկյան առոջության կենտրոններում կատարել ենք յոթ վիրահատություն»,- ասել է վիրաբույժը: 

Արթուր Սաիլբյանը տեղեկացրել է նաև, որ ծրագրված է նոր մեթոդով վիրահատություններ անցկացնել նաև Վ.Ա. Ֆանարջյանի անվան ուռուցքաբանության ազգային կենտրոնում: 

ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարար Արմեն Մուրադյանը, ողջունելով ուռուցքաբանության ոլորտում մասնագետի կատարած աշխատանքը, կարևորել է այն հանգամանքը, որ նախաձեռնությունն ուղղված է հատկապես այն կանանց, ովքեր ունեն նման վիրահատություն իրականացնելու բժշկական ցուցում, սակայն սոցիալապես անապահով են: Պայմանավորվածություն է ձեռք բերվել առաջիկայում կրծքագեղծի վիրահատության նոր մեթոդի ներդրման նպատակով հայ մասնագետների հետ ստորագրել համապատասխան պայմանագիր: 

Կրծքագեղծի պահպանման երկու փուլ պահանջող վիրահատության ընթացքում կատարվում է կրծքագեղձի բուն գեղձային հյուսվածքի հեռացում և մաշկի տակ պրոթեզի տեղադրում, որի արդյունքում պահպանվում է կրծքագեղձի մաշկը և պտուկը: Այս վիրահատության առանձնահատկությունն այն է, որ վիրահատության ընթացքում միաժամանակ երկու մասնագետ` ուռուցքաբան և պլաստիկ վիրաբույժ են աշխատում` ստանալով կանանց համար թե էսթետիկական, թե ուռուցքաբանական հիվանդության բուժման տեսանկյունից նախընտրելի արդյունք:
