Երբ դեռ անցյալ տարի երգչուհի Լիլուն իր Ինստագրամում նոր լուսանկար տեղադրեց ԱՄՆ-ից, շատերը սկսեցին հարցնել՝ արդյո՞ք երգչուհին մշտական բնակության է մեկնել: Հարցերը շատ էին, բայց երգչուհին լռում էր, փոխարենը շատանում էին ամերիկյան լուսանկարները: BlogNews.am-ի հետ զրույցում Լիլուն առաջին անգամ խոսում է ԱՄՆ տեղափոխվելու, նոր աշխատանքների և մայրիկի հետ հանդիպման մասին:
«Հայաստանը ես շատ եմ սիրում, իմ ծննդավայրն է, իմ տունն է: Ասեմ, որ ես մոտ 14 տարի մայրիկիս չեմ տեսել և շատ էի կարոտել էի նրան. նրան տեսնելու ցանկությունս մեծ էր: Հիմա եկել եմ մայրիկիս տեսնելու: Իմ և մայրիկիս հանդիպումը շատ զգացմունքային և ջերմ էր. նա այնքան էր շփոթվել, որ չգիտեր՝ ինձ գրկեր, թե որդուս: Երբ եկա, ադապտացվելու խնդիր չեմ ունեցել, քանի որ մայրիկս կողքիս էր, իմ հարազատները ևս այստեղ են: Իհարկե, շատ դժվար է քո երկրից, քո տնից հեռու գտնվելը: Ինձ համար ավելի կարևոր էր որդուս հարմարվելու հարցը, բայց նա փոքր է և շուտ ընտելացավ»:
Երգչուհին նշում է, որ գալու առաջին օրերին մասնակցել է հայկական քոլեջներից մեկի միջոցառմանը. «Ամիսներ շարունակ իմ «Հայաստանով» երգով երեխաներն անընդհատ համերգներ էին անում, և դպրոցի տնօրինությունը, իմանալով, որ այստեղ եմ, կապվեց ինձ հետ և ասաց, որ ուզում են մեծ ընդունելություն անել ինձ համար: Քոլեջի երեք հարյուր սաներն ինձ հրաշալի ընդունեցին։ Բացի դրանից՝ մի քանի խնջույքներ եղան, հետո՝ համերգ Ռեինկարնացիայի հետ միասին Սուրբ Վալենտինի օրվա հետ կապած: Իսկ հիմա աշխատում եմ իմ նոր երգերի վրա»:
