Ֆորդ Բոյարը գտնվում է Ֆրանսիայի արևմտյան ծովափին:
Կառույցը ստեղծվել է Նապոլեոն կայսեր հրամանով, իսկ համաշխարհային հռչակ է ձեռք բերել որպես համանուն հեռուստաշոուի նկարահանման վայր:
Ֆորդի կառուցման գաղափարը ֆրանսիացիների մոտ ծագել է XIV դարում՝ Լյուդովիկոս XVII-ի կողմից զինված ուժերի ավելացման կապակցությամբ:
Այն հրետանային կրակով պետք է պաշտպաներ Ռոշֆոր ծովային նավահանգիստը թշնամական նավերի հարձակումից:
Ֆորդի շինարարությունը սկսվել է 1801 թվականին Նապոլեոն Բոնապարտի հրամանով և երկար ընդմիջումներով ավարտվել 1857 թվականին:
Մեկ հարկ վերևում գտնվում են զինապահեստներ և պահեստներ, իսկ հաջորդում՝ սենյակներ ականանետների համար:
Շինարարության ավարտի ժամանակ արդեն առաջացել են ավելի կատարյալ զենքեր, որի պատճառով Ֆորդ Բոյարը դարձել է անպիտան:
1871 թվականից հետո Ֆորդ Բոյարը օգտագործվել է որպես ռազմական բանտ, իսկ ХХ դարում արդեն նրանից լիովին հրաժարվել են:
1990 թվականին սկսվել է այդ անհայտ կառույցի ամենավառ պատմությունը: Այնտեղ սկսել են նկարահանել համանուն հեռուստահաղորդումը:
Արդեն 26 սեզոն անընդմեջ նրա կանոնները անփոփոխ են. քաջերի խումբը մարտահրավեր է նետում Ֆորդի առաջադրանքներին, գաղտնիքներին և հանելուկներին:
