Թրամփը մտադիր է փոխել սենատում քվեարկության կանոնները

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը անհրաժեշտ է համարում փոխել սենատում քվեարկության կանոնները, որպեսզի կախված չլինի Դեմոկրատական կուսակցության անդամներից, հայտնում է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին։
«Պատճառը, որի համար դեմոկրատների ու հանրապետականների միջեւ քննարկվում է այդ ծրագիրը, այն է, որ մեզ անհրաժեշտ է 60 ձայն, որոնք չկան։ Մենք կամ ավելի շատ հանրապետական սենատորներ կընտրենք 2018-ին, կամ էլ հիմա կփոխենք կանոնները մինչեւ 51 տոկոս»,- գրել է Թրամփը Թվիթերում, նկատի ունենալով Սենատում որոշումների ընդունման ընթացակարգի փոփոխությունը՝ պարզ մեծամասնությամբ քվեարկությանն անցնելու ճանապարհով։
Հիմա սենատում հանրապետականները ունեն 52 տեղ, իսկ դեմոկրատները՝ 46, երկու սենատորներ ֆորմալ անկախ են, բայց նրանք հաճախ դեմոկրատների կողմից են քվեարկում։
Սենատի աջակցությունը Թրամփին պետք է մի շարք առանցքային հարցերի համար, այդ թվում 2018 ֆինանսական տարվա բյուջեի ընդունման, որը սկսվելու է 2017-ի հոկտեմբերի 1-ից։ 2017 ֆինանսական տարվա բյուջեում փոփոխություններն ընդունելու համար ԱՄՆ վարչակազմը ստիպված էր որոշ զիջումներ անել դեմոկրատներին, ինչը առաջացրել էր նախագահի դժգոհությունը։ Այդուհանդերձ, Սպիտակ տունը բյուջեի համաձայնեցված նախագիծն անվանել է «լավ գործարք» ՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ 2018-ի բյուջեում կարտահայտվեն այն առաջարկները , որոնք հիմա մերժվել են։
2018-ի նոյեմբերին ԱՄՆ-ում կանցնեն ներկայացուցիչների պալաի ու սենատի ընտրությունները, եւ կազմը մեկ երրորդով կփոխվի։
