Վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը հոկտեմբերի 7-ին ընդունել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում Եվրոպական միության պատվիրակության նորանշանակ ղեկավար, դեսպան Պյոտր Սվիտալսկիին: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, շնորհավորելով դեսպանին պաշտոնն ստանձնելու կապակցությամբ՝ վարչապետն ընդգծել է, որ ՀՀ-ԵՄ համագործակցության հիմքում ընդհանուր արժեքներն են, և Հայաստանը հաստատակամ է Եվրոպական միության հետ համագործակցության շարունակական զարգացման հարցում: Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը գոհունակություն է հայտնել մեր երկրում ԵՄ պատվիրակության հետ համատեղ աշխատանքից և նշել, որ առկա է մեծ ներուժ երկկողմ բազմաոլորտ կապերը սերտացնելու և առաջընթացի ավելի բարձր արդյունքներ արձանագրելու համար: Կառավարության ղեկավարը հաջողություն է մաղթել Պյոտր Սվիտալսկիին պաշտոնավարման մեջ և հույս հայտնել, որ նա իր գործունեությամբ կնպաստի փոխշահավետ գործակցության զարգացմանը:

ԵՄ պատվիրակության նորանշանակ ղեկավարը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել վարչապետին ջերմ ընդունելության համար և նշել, որ պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում կներդնի առավելագույն ջանքերը՝ ՀՀ-ԵՄ կապերը խորացնելու և ավելի բարձր մակարդակի հասցնելու համար: Դեսպան Սվիտալսկին գոհունակությամբ փաստել է, որ Հայաստան-Եվրամիություն համագործակցության օրակարգը հագեցած է ինչպես ընթացիկ, այնպես էլ հեռանկարային տարբեր ծրագրերով: Նա ևս ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստան-Եվրամիություն փոխգործակցության հիմնաքարն ընդհանուր արժեքային համակարգն է, և ԵՄ-ն շահագրգռված է մեր երկրի հ ետ հարաբերությունների հետագա զարգացմամբ:

Հանդիպմանը զրուցակիցները մտքեր են փոխանակել ՀՀ-ԵՄ համագործակցության ընդլայնման հեռանկարների և առաջիկա անելիքների շուրջ: Երկուստեք բարձր է գնահատվել 2015թ. հուլիսին Եվրոպական խորհրդի նախագահ Դոնալդ Տուսկի այցը Հայաստան: Այս համատեքստում կարևորվել են երկկողմ բարձրաստիճան շփումները, որոնք հնարավորություն են տալիս քննարկել ընթացիկ ծրագրերը և նախանշել համագործակցության նոր ուղղություններ: Վարչապետը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ԵՄ կողմից Հայաստանին տրամադրվող շարունակական ֆինանսական և խորհրդատվական օժանդակության համար՝ շեշտելով, որ կառավարությունն ակտիվ համագործակցում է ԵՄ տարբեր կառույցների հետ և հետևողական է ձեռք բերվող բոլոր պայմանավորվածությունները կյանքի կոչելու հարցում:
