Հայ զինվորի, սպայի ոգին այնքան հզոր է, որ ցանկացած պահի պատրաստ ենք հակահարված տալ հակառակորդին, ինչպիսի սանձազերծման էլ այն փորձի դիմել: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ լրագրողների հետ զրույցում վստահեցրեց նորընտիր խորհրդարանի ՀՀԿ պատգամավոր Շիրակ Թորոսյանը: Նրա խոսքով՝ չպետք է մոռանալ, ո ր Շուշին ոչ թե գրավվեց, այլ վերադարձավ հայրենի երկրի գիրկը, եւ դա արվեց հայ զինվորի շնորհիվ:
«Հակառակորդը չկարողացավ պահել այդ անառիկ բերդը, դա կարողացան անել նրանք, ում պատկանում է այն: Կարծում եմ՝ սա կարեւոր խորհուրդ ունի: Մայիս ամիսը, առհասարակ, խորհրդանշական ամիս է, հաղթանակների ամիս: Հատկապես ղարաբաղյան հարցի հետ կապված` երկու լուրջ ձեռքբերում ունեցանք. մեկը հենց Շուշիի ազատագրումն էր, մեկն էլ մայիսի 12-ի զինադադարի կնքումը, որով, փաստորեն, արձանագրվեց հայկական կողմի հաղթանակը»,-շեշտեց նա:
Անդրադառնալով նախորդ տարվա ապրիլյան պատերազմին՝ պատգամավորը նշեց, որ այն եւս մեկ անգամ ցույց տվեց Ադրբեջանի ձախողումը:
«Ադրբեջանը տվեց բազմաթիվ անգամ ավելի շատ զոհեր, ահռելի քանակությամբ տեխնիկայի կորուստ եւ արդյունքում Մոսկվայի միջոցով խնդրեց զինադադար, որ ավելի մեծ թվով զոհեր չունենա: Մեր պաշտպանական կառույցը պարբերաբար հայտնում է այն մասին, որ սահմանն անառիկ է, վերահսկվում է. սա արդեն կարեւոր հանգամանք է եւ խոսուն փաստ այն մասին, որ Ադրբեջանը լրջագույն խնդիր կունենա, եթե կրկին սանձազերծի պատերազմ, եւ մենք բոլոր առումներով կազմ-պատրաստ կլինենք: Եվ, առհասարակ, մենք պետք է ոչ թե քննարկենք՝ արդյոք հարձակման հավանականությունը մեծ է, թե ոչ, այլ պահովենք այն բոլոր կառուցակարգերը, որոնք անհրաժեշտ են սահմանը եւ ռազմական, եւ դիվանագիտական, եւ տեխնիկական առումներով անառիկ պահելու համար»,-ասաց Շիրակ Թորոսյանը:
Նրա խոսքով՝ այն, ինչ տեղի է ունենում այսօր, կարելի է նույնպես անվանել բանակցություններ, սակայն բուն բանակցային գործընթացին հասնելու համար անհրաժեշտ է իրականացնել նախորդ տարի Վիեննայում եւ Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունները:
«Մենք այդ սկզբունքները փորձում ենք կյանքի կոչել բանակցային այսօրվա ընթացքով: Հայաստանի, Ռուսաստանի եւ Ադրբեջանի արտգործնախարարների վերջին հանդիպումն էլ ցույց տվեց, որ այս պահին ամենակարեւորը այդ որոշումները կյանքի կոչելն է, եւ, ավելին ասեմ, մենք միակողմանիորեն դա անում ենք: Մասնավորապես՝ շփման գծում մեր կողմից անհրաժեշտ սարքավորումներ ենք տեղադրում թե մշտադիտարկում իրականացնելու, թե մյուս կողմից սահմանը անառիկ պահելու համար»,-եզրափակեց նա:
