Մերկելը Սիրիայում ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարի լավագույն միջոց է համարում տարածաշրջանային ուժերով կոալիցիաների ձևավորումը

Տարածաշրջանային ուժերի ներգրավմամբ կոալիցիաների ձևավորումն ահաբեկիչների դեմ պայքարի լավագույն միջոցն է: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, վկայակոչելով ՏԱՍ-ը, այս մասին ասել է Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելը իր ամենշաբաթյա տեսաուղերձում, որը հրապարակվել է Գերմանիայի կառավարության պաշտոնական կայքում: «Եթե որպես օրինակ վերցնենք Սիրիան և իսլամիս տական ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարը, ապա ես կարծում եմ, որ ամենաճիշտ միջոցը կոալիցիաների ձևավորումն է, որում ներգրավված կլինեն նաև տարածաշրջանային ուժերը, մասնավորապես` Պարսից ծոցի երկրները»,- ասել է Մերկելը` հավելելով, որ այս հարցում ՆԱՏՕ-ն չպետք է միայնակ լինի:
Նա հավելել է, որ նման կոալիցիաների ձևավորումը լավագույն պատասխանը կլինի ահաբեկչությանը: Մերկելն ընդգծել է, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ն հատկապես Աֆղանստանում իրականացրած գործողություններով ցույց է տվել, որ ակտիվ դերակատարություն ունի իսլամիստների դեմ պայքարում:
Միևնույն ժամանակ, անգելա Մերկելը դեմ է արտահայտվել, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ երկրների միջև ըստ տարածաշրջանների պարտավորությունների բաժանում լինի, օրինակ` ԱՄՆ-ն և Կանադան ապահովեն Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայի անվտանգությունը, իսկ եվրոպական գործընկերները` Եվրոպական Միության անվտանգությունը: «Ես կարծում եմ, որ մենք այս եղանակով չպետք է բաժանենք պարտավորությունները: Ես կարծում եմ, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ն պետք է մնա ՆԱՏՕ» ընդգծել է Գերմանիայի կանցլերը:
Նա նշել է, որ անվտանգության ոլորտում եվրոպական քաղաքականություն գոյություն ունի և այն պետք է համապատասխանի ՆԱՏՕ-ի քաղաքականությանը: Մերկելի գնահատմամբ` հարկավոր է միասին գործելու կարողություն ունենալ:
